22.01.2022 Hey Y'all! Its been a busy time for the studio. Last month saw a week of recording for Swiss Music Producers HitMill AG for an upcoming Children's Pop Album and this month we were featured in DrumScene Magazine in their editorials on Australian Drum Schools and Teachers, Check it out below. Theres been some more recording from Andrew Gander and Brendan Clarke as well as some things for Local Rock Band 'Hence The Testbed'.... 19.01.2022 Hey Everyone, thanks for accepting my friend request for the new 'commercial' Facebook site. Things have been going well this year as we're been averaging a couple of projects a month but we want to increase this to one a week! As some of you know we offer real value and great artistic support and understanding. We want to help you create your musical project to its full potential. Most of our customers have come from out of town oddly... Mainly from melbourne. I guess tourin...g bands are realising that they can get a good quality affordable recording on tour whilst the bands are tight sounding. What we are looking for more of is local business. If you have a band and want to record it please contact us. I'll be listing a whole bunch of recording packages soon that will suit students, soloists, composers, bands of any genre, teachers etc.. 14.01.2022 Just the latest news here at hihat. Our website has been fixed in that our booking page now gets sent through to me. We've lost a bit of business due to our Web host changing servers and not updating the booking/enquiry form!!! Upcoming Sessions in the future include:... Jeremy Alsops band TSMOR, ANU band comp winners, Tom Vincent Trio, New album from Wayne Kelly, James Luke duo (Feat Wayne Kelly), more recording with Julian Banks. Possible Album for the Utopia Collective too.... Vocalists, come and check out our mics for free! We'll be having an open mic day soon for anyone that wants to hear their voice through one of our killer mics and Mic pres. Accompanied by Wayne Kelly or Greg Stott. 13.01.2022 Fine-tuning our Hear Technologies Talk-Back system for monitoring. Pretty soon we'll have 8 mixer boxes making the system available for up to 16 musicians at a time. Way quieter than our still great Furman and up to 8 channels.
