14.01.2022 I always see people posting stuff on success, and money, and happiness, and ways to improve your life... I found this really cool list that apparently God made ...or something. I think I’ll give it a shot and see how my life starts to improve. In all seriousness don’t we over complicate things in just about every area of our lives? How many fads and crazes have you seen come and go? In todays culture there are more examples than we can count. They are fleeting. Superficial. We are called to be better than anything this world has to offer. It’s taken me a long time (38 years) to realize this. Every commercial and billboard offers a solution and it’s mostly to push an agenda for money. You can have better skin, you can feel better, you can lose weight, you can apply this system and then have a great business, and you can do all these things and somehow it’s supposed to bring us happiness? That is really what it’s all about right? You want to be happy? God designed you and I in the imago Dei (the image and likeness of God). He designed creation out of love. You and I are made for true love which brings true happiness. How will we ever find this true happiness without following that which God has given us as a guide for life? I think we see these 10 commandments and almost brush them off or take them for granted. You hear them so much it’s just whatever right? Have you ever truly stopped to think and pray on each one of these? Just 1 of them can tear a whole family apart and create destruction. Following these to our fullest human capability is what brings true peace. True happiness. Are they easy? NO! But that’s the point my friends...nothing worth living for will ever be easy and with Gods Grace we can become able to live these out and truly experience what we were made for. Greatness. See more
