24.01.2022 Theres been a last-minute change to tomorrows private function, so the taproom is now open from 3pm to 8pm Saturday. YAY! And, best of all, Flavours of Eataly will be here serving up everyones favourite Italian treats. Have you tried their Porchetta served in a roll with chips? Its super yum! The last schooners of Pulped Fiction Blood Orange IPA will only be on tap tomorrow. Banana Bender QLD Witbier and All Hands on Deck Pale Ale will also hit the taps. 22.01.2022 Todays the big day! Our Ekka-inspired ice cream ale, We Alll Scream!, hits the taps today. Its big, sweet and a bit creamy, a decadent nod to everyones favourite August treat. Strawberry and vanilla flavours in perfect balance, theres even a sneaky little hint of waffle cone that lingers long after the first sip. The team will be pumping out low-n-slow cooked brisket, pulled pork, wings and cheese kransky. Carnivore box, nachos and maple mushroom burgers are also available. Food from 5pm. Saturday (3-8pm) We welcome Nathan MT Music to the Hub this Saturday, playing three acoustic sets from 4:30pm. This mornings government announcement advised that businesses like the Hub (with a COVID Safe Plan) are exempt from the 10-person gathering limit. 10.01.2022 Our new keg washer has made it here from @grain_and_grape in Melbourne, before the borders closed off! Phew! You may remember when the pandemic really started to hit us, the Federal Government offered small businesses a number of financial lifelines to help them cope with the sudden shock caused by the restrictions. One of them was a very generous $10k stimulus package. Yeah, we couldve put the dollars towards some big shiny new tanks from overseas but we decided the right thing to so is support other Aussie businesses and buy something locally made. This new keg washer will do more than our current one and can wash difference size kegs with different fittings, enabling us to get more good beer in commercial kegs to local restaurants and bars. And best of all, it is Australian made.
