24.01.2022 Yesterday we crushed our 2021 Sangiovese. Due to the weather we are running a few weeks behind schedule. Hopefully the fine weather expected over the next week will be enough to dry out and ripen our Shiraz and Cabernet fruit.

23.01.2022 Today we bottled our 2018 Cabernet Shiraz. After 2 years in oak it’s really looking good. We’ll just give it a little time to settle in the bottle and it’ll good to go!

21.01.2022 We're excited to announce that we can now open for wine tastings. We will be here Thursdays to Sundays from 10.00 am till 4.30 pm. 19.01.2022 We just received our gold medal award certificate for our 2019 Nebbiolo. Drinking beautifully, well worth tasting. Call in an see us.

19.01.2022 Today we distilled a brandy to be used in our next Port of Newcastle fortified wine. Once we blend the brandy with the wine it will spend some time in oak before bottling. Thanks to Lucas at Newcastle Distillery.

10.01.2022 Yesterday we crushed our 2021 Tempranillo. This is our first red for the year. The grapes are now cold soaking for a couple of days to extract maximum colour and flavour. Then we will start the fermentation.

09.01.2022 Winestate Magazine just awarded six of our wines in their latest edition. Which is very exciting. Our 2018 Tempranillo was awarded 4 stars. Their comments on the wine are a monster that needs to be tamed! Purple hues, Spicy plum and tight acidity. I would have to agree! Come in and grab a bottle. We are here Thursday to Saturday from 10.30 am till 4.00 pm. Wine sales only.

09.01.2022 A final taste of our 2019 Nebbiolo before bottling. A really interesting wine, firm tannins with rose petal character. Should be available late February. Make sure you call in for a tasting.
