16.01.2022 Just a quick update: Estelle's knee op went well, it was quite extensive as there was much repair to be done, she will be in hospital a bit longer for rehab and will spend several weeks or so in a leg brace. We wish her well and send her all our strength and encouragement during this healing time.

14.01.2022 What an absolutely glorious weekend, we hope everyone enjoyed a little more freedom, the weather was just pleasant with a crisp change in the air the days were comfortable and the nights a little bit chilly. It was great to see the shops take a day off from the mayhem that I am certain they have had to endure of late. Congratulations to the Cassowary Coast for their determination to do the right thing and contribute to the Countries future after this surreal event ends. Keep... in touch with directions as we are not in the clear just yet, so it would be wise to keep yourself safe and continue to stay home unless necessary. Keep practicing safe distance from others and the continual washing of hands and the covering of your nose and mouth if coughing and sneezing. Remember we are approaching the flu season so it is suggested that we get the flu shot, especially for the vulnerable. Well I hope you all have a fabulous week here on the tropical coast of North Queensland stay safe and keep tuned in... Cheers Jodie Morrison
