21.01.2022 We were asked years ago to design and provide detachable 'rigging points' for spaces that require discrete rigging connection points when used for shows. These points had to be detachable to 'disappear' into the ceiling when rigging is not required. Based on this description, ITE bespoke designed our Rigging Point design. We have now installed over 200 points in Hotels and Conference Rooms throughout Australia and continually tweak the design to improve the user experience.

13.01.2022 We are currently installing a 7m wide x 3m tall LED screen that swivels out from the first floor of this building. The system is custom made by ITE and can rotate outwards up to 45 degrees when in performance mode and then can retract back into the wall when not in use.

Each Box Truss Grid is made of aluminum and manufactured in our workshop in Port Melbourne. Each Grid is motorised by a single Double Brake Pile Winding Hoist that allows the grid to travel too within 500mm of the floor for simple and safe loading of theatrical lighting and equipment. Each grid is equipped with energy chain cable management which houses the data cabling an...d stage lighting outlet cable. With some clever planning and imagination this space can be completely transformed due to the functionality of having a flown grid covering the stage and auditorium.

04.01.2022 ITE are very proud of our involvement with the AV upgrade at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) late last year. This publication describes the incredible amount of design, thought and work involved by many trades such as Rutledge & Vertigo to deliver such a monumental project.

03.01.2022 Simple, reliable and easy to operate ITE motorised house curtain system. After commissioning, motor assembly is housed in a protective cover to ensure kids and staff cannot be harmed by the moving parts.

03.01.2022 ITE have been installing stage curtains for nearly 40 years and over our time have improved leaps and bounds. One of our proudest innovations has been the switch from chemically treated stage masking fabrics to IFR (inherently flame retardant) fabrics. ITE wool and velvet no longer require re-treatment to ensure the fabric remains fire retardant. Unfortunately, many venues don’t understand the difference and still unknowingly purchase fabric (eg. Cotton) that needs ongoing maintenance.
