Friday night in Brisbane at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre at Boondall, Then off to Wollongong at the WIN Entertainment Centre for an early Sunday match. The trucks are fine tuned with new updates, including fibre interfaces allowing longer run for video and less video cable, More RF audio kit, including 4 new IEM's and belt pack transmitters, extra base stations for talkback (f...ull duplex), EVS GX server for RTD's with embedded audio out. More talkback remote panels for facilities external to the truck. 4 extra 8 channel embeders and de-embeders, which allows full talkback to Fox sports for production. Any place anytime, bring it on!!!

22.01.2022 One stop broadcast hire and production facilities in Queensland

22.01.2022 The last few days have been busy down the chilly Gold Coast, bit windy as one of our camera guys tried to hang on to his umbrella. Bowling championships, done and dusted. What a fun couple of days, laughs coming from a great crew. OB 2 has done it again, all cameras iso'ed (5 of them) main switched output, streamed to some of our best concurrent views over 1500 peeps! At one time!! we didn't miss a beat. Full commentary with talkback to producers, roving reporters, just full on. Having great crew helps in producing a top quality production, thanks guys. ps. the catering was very good too, as you can see.

20.01.2022 QLD ACS Awards last night and the evening was a great insight into the up and coming talent we have in Queensland. The entries just get better each year. A lot of new faces getting Gold awards, good to see these passionate operators being rewarded for their efforts. It really is inspiring to see the passion that we all have being handed down. The evening was streamed from OB 2, the set-up took all of 20 mins. The new fibre investment is paying off in time saving and reliabili...ty. With the upgrade of the Halo Router in the truck, set-up for feeds is effortless. IOB has now been suppling and supporting the QLD and National body of ACS for 22 years now and will continue to support the industry. We believe in "giving back" to the industry that supports us. We will be producing and streaming the National awards next year in May 2018, so stay tuned for that. To watch the awards night last night use the link below..... We congratulate all the finalist and winners, well done, you have set a bench mark, but keep raising the bar. http://livestream.com/intervisionob

19.01.2022 In keeping with the changing and ever evolving technology, we have purchased an expandable MADI system for use in all of our trucks and fly-a-way kits. Just when those runs are just too long, this is the trick. 16 x16 in/out line level MADI which can be expanded up to 64 x 64 channels. All down two multi mode fibres! Also included is a 16 mic/line unit with phantom powering and gain control on each channel. Great for bringing these mics back at line level and no external pow...er supplies required. Also we have new video fibre kits, 4 in, 2 out to 4 out, 2 in, with a 6 way multi viewer with audio level meters and UMD all housed in 3RU kits. (pictures coming soon) There is a full range of multi-core LC/LC or SC/SC tac fibre cable in various lengths for all the above.

19.01.2022 Autumn racing has started this year with a launch from "Racing.com"(Ch78) OB 2 having a small foot print was the ideal unit for this job. Poked into a corner near the horse stables, we are able to get close the action with out obstructing the punters. Using our fibre kits to and from the host set for video and audio, the gig went without a hitch, Melbourne director and talent, Sydney production switching hub, all were impressed by our rig. This is the first time racing.com has done this from Brisbane and there are more to come. Thank you to the team from Brisbane, bit of an old boys reunion from years back, these guys are just professional.

19.01.2022 11th Asia Pacific Screen Awards done for another year. Each year the viewing audience gets larger. This international awards night had the largest viewing audience from Russia, second to Australia. The event was streamed live, with a HD quality that is second to none. With our system we are able to give the client "real-time" analytical feed-back, a total breakdown of viewers, time logged in, country, town which they logged in from, what type of device (desktop, mobile), all of which can used to target audience and sponsors. Not only did we stream and produce the event, we also had to edit packages for social media on Facebook and twitter. Social media is cross promoted to engage more viewers, hence spreading the word of any event. Next year bigger and better, see you then.

18.01.2022 Been a busy last month for us, Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival for a week of streaming, great pictures, editing on the fly, all seamless, recording and packaging the whole week for posting on another site, woo hoo. could not ask for better weather as we were outdoors, each night the gear had to removed and next day replaced, the fly-a-way kits made life a lot easier.

17.01.2022 More great news. In keeping with our commitment to the industry and the ever up dating of equipment to stay current with the clients needs, we have added a few more pieces of kit to our ever increasing store. Camera Corps Q-Ball, smaller PTZ controller for all cameras in production, including being able to control our BRC cameras and a Remote Control Panel for colour and level control in engineering. All cameras use fibre to enable pictures and control to be sent over long di...stances allowing no signal loss and highly reliable control to each camera. The system is scalable to add more cameras to tailor each production as required. There has also been 4 channels of embedded audio added to the Q-ball camera send so effects or commentary can be sent from these remote locations. Its the little things that count, to give a polish to any production.

16.01.2022 Incredible week in Melbourne doing Telstra "Vantage". We managed the OB's from Melbourne to Perth, plus the Perth end as well. So two OB's, great time with TDC and the boys. IOB designed the "hub" in Melbourne on location in MCEC for this event. Telstra was the main client which wanted to have dances in Perth projected to sync up with dances under the PIP (picture in picture) screens, This screen was 30 mtrs long and 8 mtrs high. It worked like a bought one! The latency from ...Perth was 1.2 frames via DVN 2, the sound track came from Perth as not to introduce delay and the lighting and back-up track was time code locked from Perth. All talkback, effects mics and main mics, via MADI to Melbourne, so lip sync was spot on. All went so well, and meet some great crew, very professional and talented. Brain White your talent in Perth pulled it together. Thanks guys appreciate all your hard work. ps. the catering was good too. See more

15.01.2022 Well that was a very exciting weekend, Channel 10's Creative Generation at the Brisbane Convention and Entertainment Centre was a hoot!! Bit of a cross section of clients going on here, Client was Channel 10, production crew supplied and managed by NEP and we supplied the technology and core technical crew, worked well. Everyone was blown away with the way it all went seamlessly, so relaxed, that's is what it is all about. Using our new remote router system via fibre just wo...rked so well with the lighting director and production TD in house, just dialling up sources on their own panels. Our fibre investment is really paying off, as no run was less than 100 mtrs and maximum run was 400 mtrs, this was video, audio and data. No drop outs no problems. The BRC hot heads provided those special shots. Fun time had by all as you can see by the pictures. Wait till next year, bigger and better. See more

15.01.2022 5th Year!!! Stradbroke Cup at Doomben, great client and fantastic day, professional crew. It is no one person that makes a production but a team. Just amazing that a crew can come together every year and it goes like clock work. 6 cabled cameras, 2 RF cameras, 4 remote cameras, Sends to all points, plus OB 2 being used for racing.com concurrently switching live feeds for ch78. one uplink with dual sends (Ch 7, Ch 78) Two graphics suites, one edit suite, all on line and rou...table to each other. Over 40 comms ports wired with IFB's both hard wired and RF, live remote crosses and not one hick-up, team work and planning. This is what we do, and do well. Look at the smiles on these relaxed faces. Now that's a gig. See more

15.01.2022 Well that's another year done, Stradbroke cup started off soggy for the rig day, but ended with a sunny warm finish. Channel 7 tried something different this year by doing a "hub" like event. We were controlled remotely from BCM in Melbourne.(BCM had EVS, Director, DA, audio Director, graphics) 6 x hybrids for communications, 4 video paths via SNG and 7 inputs to the MUX's switched by the BE. 8 cameras including RF, Jockey cam, ENG colour camera doing interviews, all these remotes coming into our 3 play unit that handled it so well. Russell Nunn is a wiz on this device. It is so close to an EVS, great for these sort of events. I'm sure they will throw something more complex at us next year, but that's what we thrive on. No limits!

14.01.2022 Fashion all this week, great times, streamed live. Mercedes Fashion festival from QUT one night with fly-a-way kit, full de-rig, next night St Johns church in the city, bit easier used OB 2, third night back at QUT, full de-rig, last night fly-a-way and full de-rig. Having the fly-a-ways as "plug and play" modular system certainly makes things easier. Full RF on all cameras and talk back. Using the new Marshall cameras and Q ball, it just works! Nobody was allowed to run cables on the ground, no cable guards allowed. New rule from QUT, so staging had to put up truss and fly their cables, We were walk in walk out with RF. Amazing who you see on these gigs, an old mate from 40 years ago, still shooting, good on ya Norm.

08.01.2022 The BBC and the ABC have teamed up for a world breaking record of the most people watching the moon. This was a very exciting event and we were in the thick of it. Dr Karl was our host and this guy is so genuine. He is so accessible to the point he offers free talks to any school or university, he was like a vending machine handing out business cards, so great to see a "real" person on tv. Just a great gig.

03.01.2022 Over the past few months we have been busy with designing and building what we think are extremely versatile cameras and fiber Tx/Rx's. The cameras are great under low light and also have full RCP control to match the other cameras being used. These cameras are so small, they can not be easily seen, to give that "how is that shot being done?" look. These cameras and senders can run off AC or in the case of very remote mounting, have 12 volt in/out as well. All kits are "plug ...and play" using only one(1) fiber!!! that's correct only one fiber to carry full HD SDI video, data, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, and 1 channel each way of audio, with NO latency. Have a look, a video will be following soon, so keep watching. See more

02.01.2022 Its happening again today! Come over and have a look at our production equipment. we can scale from a very small minor, little production to a large mega super huge all bells and whistles production, last day today. see you here

01.01.2022 Wet,Wet,Wet, No it's not a reboot of that 80's band, it's the Bridge to Brisbane yesterday, Great to see the rain, but come on only between 3.30 am to 11.30 am just when we are setting up and shooting. OB 2 is just the right size to sneak in behind the stage, yet have the full capability of a larger truck. Loving the fiber system we have. The finish line was 500 mtrs from our base position and we were running our remote camera systems, full data control, not a drop out. usin...g the fiber we were able to use a "drop" system for the hand held cameras to just plug in and full vision and audio plus talkback. The new Marshall mini cameras just work so well. In low light they "shine" (sorry about the pun) We will be having an open day at the office in mid October with all our trucks fully operational, fly-a-ways kits set up, mini camera systems and remote PTZ systems all ready to play with, stay tuned for more details, see you there.
