07.01.2022 Block boredom busters. Blocks are perfect for a variety of activities to entertain kiddies of all ages! Here are some different ones for you to try while we’re all needing to be home more! * Counting and stacking. Perfect mix of play and learning. * Block Maze. Create a maze or racecourse using your blocks, you can make it as simple or hard as needed. Using straws, blow a Pom Pom around the maze. You can even do timed races. ... * Block shadow drawing. Build a tower and shine a torch behind it to trace the shadow. This can make a fun colouring activity. A slightly harder version could be to pre trace built towers and then let your children build the tower to fit the drawing. * Block bowling. Build your towers and use different size balls to knock them down. Stand further back for more of a challenge and to really practice hand eye coordination.
