19.01.2022 If you dont like your dog jumping and begging or barking at the dinner table? Teach them what to do instead with place training. Teach them to go to a spot (place) and make it more rewarding than begging at the table. 1. Lure them to a spot with a tasty treat, you can use a towel, their bed or a mat. Say Bed, Mat etc and REWARD REWARD REWARD... 2. Teach them to Sit and Drop on this spot and REWARD REWARD REWARD 3. Teach them to Stay on this spot and REWARD REWARD REWARD 4. Teach them a Release cue ( A word that tells them that the exercise is finished eg FREE or Ok) and move them away from this spot.
