You can thank me for the well needed rain as in true form it rained for days in the middle of taking the roof off! 20.01.2022 The extension is progressing! The hardest thing to renovate is your own home. We only get weekends and the occasional day here and there to work on our own projects. Here you can see the brickwork and brick piers going up and the installation of the structural beams. ... 14.01.2022 7 years ago we bought our house. I will admit that I had the biggest buyers remorse buying here on a promise and a vision only James could see and I couldn’t for the life of me. But as a tradies wife you go all in hold your breath and hope.... pray.... beg and plead that it will be for the best. ... Fast forward 7 years and yes we’re almost there.... still some painting, cupboard doors and a little bit more to do and then we can sit back and relax... maybe! 02.01.2022 Today is a worthy day when Australia and New Zealand men and women stop and remember our fallen soldiers. As a family we marched in our local town and encourage our daughters in representing their school. They are young and don’t understand the history behind why we commemorate ANZAC Day but old enough to understand it is important.... To all the men and women who have lost their lives, and to their loved ones they have left behind - thank you for your sacrifice and love for our country. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts. Lest we forget.
