24.01.2022 This year we learned (among many other things, we’re sure ) that, at a wedding, good times and emotion and powerfully authentic feels are not necessarily directly affected by number of guests in attendance. On average this year - as far as what we can attest to, anyway - wedding crowd sizes were way down. But the love buzz you lot created was as powerful and palpable as we’ve experienced. Ever. Kudos to those who stuck to their guns and/or adapted in 2020 - you killed... it. And we’re honoured to have been part of what you created. To those who decided that getting mazzed ‘next year’ is a-ok with you... then rad, it’s a-ok with us too and we can’t wait to see you there. Much love, good humans. Well, it was made slightly less-so 'cause they knew they could reach out to us. ... Serendipitously, @lovelei_weddings was available so she arranged to get all the existing paperwork from the previously-booked Cele, and tee'd up a coffee meet with our soon-to-be-mazzed couple. 12.01.2022 Good humans. Good vibes. That’s you and your day. It’s also us, and what we bring. ... 2020 taught us many things. And just over a week into the new year, it’s pretty apparent 2021 will very likely continue to. But most importantly for us was the way the last year’s tribulations reiterated some of the core beliefs we - as a family, and business - already held. Things like pursuing passions; following guts; listening to hearts; loving hard; and, of course, avoiding drama (and the kinds of people who seem to create and/or enjoy it) in an effort to live a joyous life. The Janda Events brand has been under construction for about 18months. Covid just gave us more time in the office to give it the attention it deserved. And while it’ll probs always be under construction in a sense, a light that appeared in the beginning and has shone-through ever since is reflected pretty succinctly in our new positioning statement.
