Obviously, a piano teacher plays an important role. It is very important that a child start with the right teacher who can adopt a more flexible approach to teaching very young learners. 22.01.2022 SUMMER MUSIC FUN Creative children will love the summer music holiday program that is starting on January 15th at Lake Gwelup Primary School. These fun and exciting camps are designed for children ages 3-5 years and 6-8 years. Although the emphasis is on music, each session will integrate all of the creative arts: music, dance, drama, visual art and literature. Children will listen to selected orchestral works, sing, move to music, play percussion instruments and make their o...wn instruments. Each week focuses on classical composers like Mozart (Jan.15-19) and Haydn (Jan. 22-26). Each camp ends with childrens performance on the last day. He is learning how to read and play music and improves his concentration and listening skills along the way. 18.01.2022 Does your child love to sing? This is a call out for expression of interest from children, boys and girls ages 8-12 for ensemble/choir training to start when present restrictions for social distancing (due to COVID19) is fully lifted. Children will learn vocal exercises, breathing techniques, 2-part singing, and choral repertoire from Disney, Musical Theatre and Classical era. Classes will be held at Cocoa & Rose cafe located at 491 Hay St in East Perth (opposite Westin Hotel) every Saturday from 4:00-5:00pm. Performances will be organized each year. Tuition is $15 per session + gst payable per term. Parents are to provide musical scores for use during training. Heres an open letter from the organizer: "Following our musical evening that you participated in at St Emilies School in Canning Vale last September the funds raised went towards purchasing musical instruments for the children at Mother of Divine Grace Orphanage in Nigeria. Im sure you understand the amount of joy and the opportunities this will bring to these under-privileged ch...ildren. They have expressed their gratitude and thanks and have offered their prayers for us all. On behalf of our fundraising group I sincerely thank you also - it was a beautiful evening and a rewarding outcome.
