23.01.2022 Hip Pain Remedy . TAG SOMEONE WHO HAS TOLD YOU THE FRONT OF THEIR HIP HURTS . STOP WAITING TAKE ACTION ... . Did you know we have a FULLY COMPREHENSIVE HIP PROGRAM that covers these exercises AND SO MUCH MORE . 14- hip -- 100 a Visit this link to learn more: https://theprehabguys.com/hip-prehab-program/ . Pain in the front of the hip (anterior hip pain, hip flexor pain, groin pain, insert diagnosis here) can be very frustrating. This is especially true when sitting is one of the aggravating factors. This is challenging in todays age because most people have to spend a portion of their day sitting. So what do you doWhat if someone said stretch your hip flexors and that makes it WORSE . In this post you will find some hip active range of motion exercises with the right amount of volume and intention while performing these exercises they can definitely be strengthening exercises working those glutes. . 1 Donkey Kicks - helps to relax the rectus femoris muscle . 2 Fire Hydrants - helps to relax the rectus femoris and some of the short adductors . 3 Hip Extension With Slider - helps to relax the hip flexors . 4 Alternating Hip Extension - helps to relax the hip flexors . Why these exercisesWe are taking advantage of a concept called reciprocal inhibition. If the hip flexors or another soft tissue in the front of the hip is the issue AND PASSIVE STRETCHING aggravates it we want to get these tissues to relax naturally by activating the antagonist muscles the muscles that perform the opposite motion, meaning hip extension. _________________________________________________ . . . . #hip #hippain #hipflexor #glute #gluteworkout #hipflexorstretch #hipstretch #theprehabguys #TPG #fitness #exercise #PT #DPT #DPTstudent #physio #physiotherapy #workout #recovery #rehab #prevention #rehabilitation See more

17.01.2022 4-TYPE CLASSIFICATION OF SCAPULA DYSKINESIS Are we able to identify patients with scapula dyskinesis in the first place? Kibler et al. (2002) were one of the pi...oneers regarding the classification for scapula dyskinesis and they found a moderate reliability of 0.4 regarding the inter-rater reliability and 0.5 the intra-rater-reliability for their 4-type classification system. Uhl et al. (2009) evaluated the 4-type classifcation against 3D kinematic assessment and found a low validity of 54-64%. For those reasons the clinical value of scapula dyskinesis assessment according to the 4-type classification is rather weak. 05.01.2022 For those that were curious about not using the word gentle, check this out! Other than semantics and interpretation of text, this particular ruling comes bac...k to evidence AND an absolute understanding of physiology, neurology, histology and pathology. Even if a genius individual could know all this stuff to a level of A+, we still dont actually know what our techniques do,soooo we cant advertise with the word treat at all. In fact, what profession could? We dont even understand most pathologies yet. Even simple conditions like DOMS. So we couldnt meet these guidelines when treating it as we dont actually know what we are trying to change? Again, from the previous post, the premise is fine but is it possible for any profession to advertise like this? Maybe we just assist until further notice.
