24.01.2022 For this client it was a need to repair a draw front where upon inspection we found that the brackets holding the draw face had broken. We researched and found appropriate brackets and replaced them.

24.01.2022 If anyone is interested we have a bath to go.... message me and other than some transport cost it's yours!!!

22.01.2022 The fence being supported while strengthening works are being undertaken.

21.01.2022 An unusual plant here caught my eye for a fill in against a shed where previously trees had died. We sprayed the soil for any viruses and now have placed 2 native franjapanies which have a small fragrant flower.

19.01.2022 For our client who had recently moved from Queensland to Victoria to be nearer their daughter, work begins. First up however after some larakins had forced open the side gate making the couple feel unsafe, we took on some urgent works to realign the gate so that it could be used easily and locked. Doing this also necessitated the need to address the fence which had been leaning somewhat. Using sleepers I had onsite for the gardens we used them to also push the fence up and s...upport it The home owner had advised me the fence being ten years old approximately, had also informed me that the fence had started leaning very early from construction. This was making Me think it was weather related .... facing westward but upon putting my star picket support stakes in I came to realise that It may not have had concrete put in the holes, which for a fence that height and position would be a must. The pickets should have found resistance alongside the posts but didnt. I dropped the posts in 18 inches and screwed to post with 4 hex screws per post. To date this has secured the fence in place and has averted a costly replacement for now. I will be watching as winter approaches as to the need to perhaps dig and place concrete around the posts. Ordinarily for concreting posts I prefer to paint the bottom of the posts for longevity as the lime in concrete rots out posts. Over many years I have carried out fence repairs where the top of the fence appears well but leans. This is because just below the ground surface the posts have rotted out. In this case they seem firm and by placing good long hex screws, 60mm x 10 gauge the screws anchor the pickets to the posts. For under $200.00 this fence which would more likely cost 5k to replace is repaired and should see another 5 years use. See more

19.01.2022 For this client who was from a previous house i managed we have taken these premises on to manage both in lawns and gardens. We have installed watering systems with timers throughout. We have trimmed and put plants in including some standard roses a raised vegie patch planted plants. A feature pot by the front door and flowering petunas for colour if you look through the photos youll see whaf it looked like before and now. Soon the petunias will die off but as they do we will be filling the gaps with pansies to carry through to spring.

18.01.2022 Amazing some of the challenges i come across with lawns..... heres another and tamed we did.

18.01.2022 Taming a wild forest!!!

16.01.2022 For this client we have readjustment some internal steps and put in handrails following a knee replacement and making the steps that were too deep more manageable. Rather than rip up the carpet and destroy it we placed in two new steps and built the depth in so that each step was about 150mm deep.

15.01.2022 For this long term customer we have some new plants we are planting replacing some that have died and also some improvements, ad tt we some well earned lawn attention. We have pruned and fed the roses but they need some spraying for black spot after a damp end of winter. We have sprayed for black spot, and lightly trimmed so that we will have a late autumn last bloom. Then a winter trim will await. We have placed some daisies in the garden for colour going into winter. There... is a Lilly Lilly or neighbours be gone tree to go in where a pine tree was removed. And where another tree a caprossma had d ijed we are going with some variegated native franjapani shrubs to cover the baroness. There is some gravel to come in whe r e butterfly weeds and couch grass keep coming up. I derive much pleasure working on this property because there is always something to do. And many improvements to make. This client is aging in ability and sight so it is my goal to make the property pleasurable for her to enjoy. See more

15.01.2022 As well as his tree and hedges this client also wanted his lawns maintained. Again someone who works and wants to come home to a neat and tidy yard..... Im hearing you..... is this tidy enough for a shot of golf? I will also be attending to the paspalum that is coming up in sections.

15.01.2022 This is what greeted me upon arrival here to a new client..... in need of some regular maintenance. In the backyard were overgrown gravel paths with weeds. We have sprayed the paths tamed the lawn areas so that it looks better again.

13.01.2022 To the lowlife who broke into my car overnight stealing 2k worth of equipment.... I hope you're happy with what you've caused. I hope you sell the goods and get your drug fix.....and I wish you a happy overdose. Failing that I have Faith that Karma is coming for you real soon.

13.01.2022 I had a client who commented on the lawns I did around the corner and had been chasing me for some time. He had a couple of hedges in need of a tidyup and this tree.... trimmed by an unknown force who had no idea of tree shaping and trimmed it off the road without balancing the back of it. Although I wasnt keen to cut into it being a deciduous tree it needed trimming before a catastrophic wind did it for him. So trimmed we did and I will reattend to it and dtail it further once its lost its leaves

13.01.2022 This time of the year following all the rain, check your roses for aphids and black spot. The extra soft tender shoots and flowers on your roses will be under attack and the extra moisture will herald the black spot issues. Use triforine or mancozeb plus to control the black spot and use rose spray or pyretherin on your roses for the aphids. Alternatively if you want the natural approach you can use a garlic spray containing garlic , cloves , velvet soap and paraffin oil. Another solution is making up dishwashing liquid in water and spraying your roses with it.

13.01.2022 Keeping on top of our valued customers...... It has been a trying few months with health issues but determined to beat it. For those that have been patiently waiting .... Thank you. And the rain..... that's for another subject.

12.01.2022 For this customer we have tamed their lawn and now is time to do some beautifying and much needed maintenance. This older couple have moved down from Queensland due to health reasons and to be near their daughter. But sure to the coronavirus I think you would agree it's boring to look at an empty square block.... All be it a near lawn which will also be weeded soon too.... stay tuned for the results of 3 gardens to come and also some leveling and drainage works.

11.01.2022 These pencil pines planted last autumn are under my attention again. The problem here is in yarragon where the grounds can be a bit swampy. At the time of planting I had suggested these should be elevated off ground level to avoid rotting the roots and now that is what will need to be done.

10.01.2022 And of course our regular lawns are tendered. Anyone for a shot of golf?

06.01.2022 To the lowlife who has taken to breaking into my car now a second time...... your days are numbered and you want to hope the police find you before I do. Because your life will be he'll and very painful for you if i find you first. What you failed to realise this time is I have nice pretty pictures of your ugly face caught in the act. Which police have too now so expect a visit real soon.

06.01.2022 Further up the hedge planted about 18months ago.... replacing pine trees past their use by dates were these" neighbours be gone" trees which are Lilly Polly trees. In the short time they have done well disguising the shed. Keeping trimmed and controlled will now be the ongoing role.

06.01.2022 If you recognise this person or know him please contact Moe Police or ring Crimestoppers on 1800333000

05.01.2022 It has been a troubling few months, firstly with a heart Issue which is still causing problems with Angina. We have now had several stents put in and are currently doing rehab work to support the stents.... It is slow going but we are pushing ahead and getting in front. Thankyou to those clients that have been very patiently waiting and being delayed. It has been a troubling few months, firstly with a heart Issue which is still causing problems with Angina. 05.01.2022 For this client, The same as the last post, I had on my list for some time to develop this section into a little oasis. By chance whilst taking some rubbish to the local transfer station this little bridge was waiting for me. Much to my delight even better than the one I was going to build because of the "rustic charm" and character it has, I was able to purchase it cheaply. It also falls into my guidelines of recycling where possible rather than wastage. We will extend a ra...mp and footing to both ends and replace some boards. It will be cleaned and painted, And lastly landscaped around. Already I found in the far backyard a couple of fibreglass ponds sitting around aimlessly and from another acquaintance I have access to some white pebbles. Yo in can probably guess the rest. We will place the ponds on the hose side among a feature of the white pebbles In a river style and landscape it to the clients tasting. She is persistently eager to see it's conclusion. A gr great l i type Easter surprise she wasn't expecting!!! Watch this space for progress!!! See more

03.01.2022 After having attacked this clients trees for a couple of years it comes as no surprise that I am now taking on his lawns.... more like a cricket pitch in parts but a beautiful garden to speak of. There are posts here that reflect some of what I have done. Many trees that had gotten too big and overgrown. They have had haircuts and regrown better. This client is hard working and like many I have just want to come home knowing the garden is neat and tidy..... That it is.

02.01.2022 Another lawn kept nicely in control by none other than the jolly jumbuck have fed the lawn to green it up somewhat.
