25.01.2022 We're baaaaack .. After a long time under wraps, the Jubilee Singers of Bridgetown are back ready to sing again . We have great pleasure in bringing you "Carols in the Garden" at The Cidery on Saturday 19th December from 6:30pm. This is a family friendly FREE event and is BYO food only (no BYO drinks), as the Cidery bar will be open.... We have a selection of carol favorites and songs you can join in and sing with us. Please come along, bring your friends and family and enjoy the newly refurbished garden area of the Cidery with us. .. Don't forget - Saturday 19th December from 6:30pm @ The Cidery Gardens.
23.01.2022 Jubilee Singers are excited to host once again the Blackwood Rhapsody on Saturday February 8th 2020 at Bridgedale House, Hampton Street, Bridgetown. An amazing line of of local and national artists will be performing under a sunset evening overlooking the Blackwood River. Featuring local artist and international singer/songwriter Emily Barker and her band, and organised again by Bridgetown's own Jubilee Singers, hosted by Alan Wilson, this year's Show includes appearances by ...The Riders, Formidable Vegetable Band and Rastatrix. Local "Rising Stars" have a spot, as do the "All Stars" of Ashley Arbuckle, Sally Boud, Geoff Bourgault and David Bardsley. Picnic by the Blackwood River and enjoy the sound and lights of the "Bridge Surprise". Entertainment kicks off at 5:30pm, gates open at 4:30pm. 11.01.2022 Well we are almost back . Jubilee Singers are re-convening again on Monday 7th September at St Bridgid Church in Bridgetown after a self-imposed isolation from mid April. We are cautiously starting up our choir practice's again whilst ensuring we follow current COVID19 guidelines. We will be trying out some songs new to us and a few songs we already know. ... 11.01.2022 So if you haven’t heard yet, the Jubilee Singers Bridgetown are hosting the next Blackwood Rhapsody 2020 again It’s on Sat 8 February 2020 from 4:30pm (we expect the gates to open at 4:30pm to allow time for everybody to get a nice spot and set up the picnic blanket or chairs), the performance starts at 5:30pm. 08.01.2022 So we had a great turnout last night for our first Choir Practice since we were shutdown by COVID19 back in March / April. Just over half of the regular choir turned, up with others advising they would be returning shortly. Welcome back to you all. Our new Musical Director put his stamp of authority on the evening and we did enjoy a different directing style (he’s not called Grumpy for nothing ). We managed the COVID19 compliance requirements at our venue (St Brigid’...s Catholic Church) and felt comfortable with our surroundings. We started off with three songs last night, All God’s Creatures Got A Place In the Choir, We Three Kings and an old favorite Goodnight Sweetheart, Goodnight. If anyone in the area is looking to find out about joining or just trying out, there are NO AUDITIONS.. We are an easy going group singing traditional and contemporary songs and are very welcoming. We practice on Mondays, 7:30pm-9:00pm at St Bridgid's Catholic Church - next to St Bridgid's Catholic Primary School at 130 Roe Street, Bridgetown, WA. 05.01.2022 Jubilee Singers Bridgetown practice weekly, have no auditions - You just have to love singing to join in. We practice every Monday from 7:30pm until 9:00pm at St Brigids Catholic Church on Roe Street, Bridgetown. Email [email protected]... When it comes to performing, the Jubilee Singers love to sing throughout the year. We sing at the annual "Close Up and Classical" concert, we support the Remembrance Day and ANZAC Day services, and run a Christmas Carols event, sing for our local communities such as Geegeelup and Silver Chain and organise and present the "Blackwood Rhapsody" at Bridgedale House each year.
