21.01.2022 These outdoor pots are instant glam! A little bamboo, palm or lush green foliage of any description and you would have a very stylish entrance piece. Or feature plant on the verandah. Container planter boxes look good too, planted up with bamboo particularly, and are ideal for people renting.

19.01.2022 We're a great place to come for gift buying. We have a wide range to suit, we're local and hey you know it will keep living and giving...what could be better than that?

18.01.2022 A shop full of pots! And plenty of indoor houseplants to go with. As well as outdoor lightweight pots and containers for growing larger trees, palms and bamboo. A perfect time of year to be getting green.

18.01.2022 Come for a walk into the cool green of our jungle garden and find....well it could be a panda, or a lion, or a chimp. You might also find our climbing net in the summer pavilion. And there's even a fairy fern garden before you go. All for only a $2 adult donation and $1 children. Say hello to Possum our dog too...

17.01.2022 Now how's this for a veggie garden? In England of course - they've been doing it for awhile!! Walled Kitchen Garden at Gravetye Manor, West Sussex, UK. Designed by William Robinson at the turn of the 20th century, this is one of the last large-scale vegetable gardens to be built in UK. Photo: Gravetye Manor

17.01.2022 Find our Succulent area just to the left of the front door. A great way to conserve water and we have lots of varieties which look awesome in the right spot. There's also Haworthia in the Indoor Plant room which grow well indoors. Most succulents are fine inside with enough light.

14.01.2022 Did we mention we have a few Bromeliads for sale? Perfect for that out of the way spot not in full sun.

13.01.2022 These weird little creatures could almost be from another planet, but they're actually baby blackbirds which we didn't have the heart to throw out of the bike basket. They're not native, and they make a mess, but their sound is sweet.

13.01.2022 Cute little pots from $19.95 or plant stands @ $35.00. Some of our new favourities....

12.01.2022 Look out for our dog Possum next time you visit. She's usually in the carpark or the front entrance. She will not hurt or harrass you, but she loves a pat if you're able.

10.01.2022 Sanseverias are a favourite for all the right reasons. SUPER easy to grow, need hardly any water or maintenance and they actually produce oxygen while you sleep. One of those amazing, toxin gobbling plants which look striking in any room of the house.

09.01.2022 A face from any direction, something a little different. $39.95.

09.01.2022 WHEN I AM AMONG THE TREES by Mary Oliver When I am among the trees, especially the willows and the honey locust, equally the beech, the oaks and the pines,... they give off such hints of gladness. I would almost say that they save me, and daily. I am so distant from the hope of myself, in which I have goodness, and discernment, and never hurry through the world but walk slowly, and bow often. Around me the trees stir in their leaves and call out, Stay awhile. The light flows from their branches. And they call again, It’s simple, they say, and you too have come into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled with light, and to shine. See more

08.01.2022 We have a vast range of Bromeliads and they add instant colour and interest to the ground level of your jungle. They prefer dappled light to get colour, but not full sun, so any area already planted will benefit. And they're so hardy! Water occasionally, no pruning or weeding, you can even make babies from the pups (cute eh?)

07.01.2022 Majestic, Bangalow and Cocos Palms grow well in Adelaide. If you'd like to see them fully mature, come for a walk through our Jungle Garden, now over 25 years old. Kids will also love to find "wild" animals, swing on the climbing net and find our Fairy Fern Garden too. Entrance to the garden is $2 adults donation and $1 to help with maintenance.

04.01.2022 This furry customer was a bit late last week and we had to turn him/her away....towards a eucalyptus tree not the vines...how delightful!

03.01.2022 Daydreaming of the tropics? We can't send you overseas, but we can help you create your own version, right here in Adelaide. We have the bestest range of lush, tropical bamboo, palms and ferns and because we're local, we can tell you what will work best in YOUR backyard.

03.01.2022 Can do Cannas!! Instant tropical effect in our temperate climate - glam colours, large leaves and lushness. Showy foliage and vivid colours.

02.01.2022 Loving this Gracilis! Tony has sent in pics of his sanctuary at Aldinga Beach, now 8 years old. The bamboo makes an ideal backdrop for the potted plants and certainly covers the fenceline.... Thanks so much Tony and keep them coming folks!!

02.01.2022 Spider Plants look great in any room or a place outside that's not too sunny. They have long green and white leaves and will put out little ones (pups) which you can plant again to start a new pot. Very easy to look after and will also reduce toxins.
