12.01.2022 Last minute decisions can be deadly during a bushfire. Do you know when you will leave, what you’ll take and where you’ll go? If you don’t know the answer to th...ese critical questions, it’s time to make or update your bushfire plan. The new My Bushfire Plan app has been created locally to help Western Australians make a well thought out plan that is easily accessible and shareable even if you’re offline. Visit www.mybushfireplan.wa.gov.au or download the app 'My Bushfire Plan'.

11.01.2022 Please take all the warnings seriously. The warning areas involve pretty solid predictions and take into account winds changes and changing conditions. A wind c...hange can turn a flank (an edge) into a headfire which can be wider and more intense than the original headfire. Fire behaviour can increase at different points of the day and spotfires can occur kilometres ahead of the main headfire. Listen to and follow the information put together by the expert teams on Emergency WA. See more
