23.01.2022 KINDERGARTEN BOOKINGS OPEN We are taking bookings for our Kindergarten 2021 class. Kindergarten may look like all fun and games (music, story time, dancing, art) but there's an intense amount of brainwork going on. What is the learning program based on?... Our kindergarten program is based on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning guide. The guideline gives advice on how to deliver a kindergarten program that meets National and state quality standards and regulations. It is based on an emergent curriculum, following the children’s interests. Within this, there are many opportunities for intentional teaching, as well as many spontaneous teachable moments. Miss Joann is our Bachelor trained Kindergarten teacher, she has been teaching for more than 25 years. Joann's philosophy is based on a respectful image of each child who is competent and capable. Education for meaning and understanding ( Holistic) Developing and supporting social skills to enhance communication. Valuing discussion and debate where it fosters enquiry, theorising and problem solving.
