15.01.2022 Weekend’s here! Where's your favourite place to go exploring?

15.01.2022 "Autobrunch" event hosted by North Shore Sporting Car Club at St Ives Showground. This event is a monthly "cars & coffee" format in a more relaxed bush setting; complete with coffees, bacon-and-egg-rolls and never the same combination of vehicles. This makes for a very enjoyable morning with a vast array of makes and models, amongst some beautiful australian bushland.

12.01.2022 It’s been a while, but to kick off 2020, here’s a severely underrated vehicle: the Suzuki Jimny! This 2015 model is an absolute weapon: tackling 100ft sand dunes, rocky terrain, beaches and Aussie bush with ease... and completely factory-spec! Even running road tyres! Such a fun little vehicle. 10/10 would buy!

09.01.2022 A rare sight: Uluru under a thunderstorm. This evening Uluru was simultaneously shrouded in smoke and soaked from above; what a surreal moment. Note the Anangu People's traditional burning techniques: low flames, moderate heat (no intense temperatures) and small controlled areas. This ensures the landscape recovers and flourishes, whilst giving resident fauna ample time to get to safety. Many of Australia's native flora NEEDS fire to regenerate, but unlike huge back burns, these "mosaic" fires target small areas at a time; ensuring there is always existing vegetation, food and shelter sources. Thank you to the Anangu People for allowing us access to your sacred site, to see and enjoy it the way you do. It is a true privilege to be on-country in such an ancient place *THESE IMAGES ARE NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
