25.01.2022 I have had some of my favourite paintings printed into greeting cards and matted prints. I painted this colourful watercolour in a class a few years back and it remains one of my favourites. This painting hangs in the massage room @jacks_corner_retreat . 20.01.2022 Well it’s a wrap for my successful solo exhibition @terra.artgallery in Kiama. Smiles all round for a fab couple of weeks of showing and selling my latest work. From the red carpet opening on the 2nd April with so many turning up to celebrate with me to loads of visitors over the past two weeks with lovely comments, making my works their own to take home and enjoy, several commissions... just wow, wow, wow. I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to those who came and appre...ciated what I do as a result of spending almost every day painting in my little studio. I would mostly like to thank Izabella Venter, owner of this amazing gallery firstly for taking the initiative to open a gallery at a challenging time. A gallery that Kiama has been crying out for for many years. I am just so happy to be an resident artist and look forward to the great ideas and future exhibitions. So what now? Well it’s back to the studio for me. I have so many paintings in my head that need to be released onto canvas! Lots of events coming up not least an inspiring trip to the Red Centre of this beautiful country (have you booked?) where I am sure will see paintings for my exhibition @terra.artgallery 6th December 2021. 19.01.2022 Someone asked about my sketchbook bag that I take on my tours. Mine was purchased from Office Works some time ago and I don’t see it in their online store now. However if you search hard case bags for laptops you might find something similar. Look for one with the strap that attaches on either side so that when the bag is open it is at right angles making a nice little work area for your sketchbook and supplies. Hope this is helpful

10.01.2022 We are so excited to see the interest in our next tour to Central Australia this October. My travel manager @maryandersontravelmanager is taking bookings and answering questions regarding the destinations that we will be enjoying. Any enquires regarding the art that we will be doing can be directed to me either by DM, email or phone. Just a little info about the art that we will be doing on tour... When I travel I mostly paint in watercolour and pen and wash in watercolour ...sketchbooks. I have quite a collection of these from my trips and they give me a lot of joy to relive some fabulous memories with our groups when I look at them. They are a lovely collection of quick studies, a snapshot in paint of being in a place that I wanted to record. Some have scribbled notes.. like the date, time, weather and who I was painting with.. some with little poems and keepsakes. They are my personal and very unique diaries. My aim for the tours has always been to share the wonders of art travel with like minded people. No one is going to look at you weirdly if you wax lyrical about how that sunset bathes the landscape in red gold and hues of violet as the sun drops behind Uluru. In fact we will all be nodding our heads in total unison at that spectacle Of course I could bring along my easel, my oil paints, my acrylics, my pastels, my box of 259 pencils, mediums, canvases etc etc etc but with experience I have decided that the best for me is to sling my small satchel over my shoulder containing my sketching and watercolour supplies and paint as we go. I have received some enquires asking if I would mind people bringing other supplies to work in their preferred medium. I am totally fine with this. The aim is to bring out the best in what you do while enjoying the experience of art travel. And yes.. photographers are very welcome, mixed media artists, pastel artists all will enjoy this tour with creative people.
