21.01.2022 How do you attract your soul mate part 3... Unhealed trauma and old wounds from growing up can have a negative impact on you in adulthood and your relationships. We are programmed with our belief system by the age of 7 and by the time we get to adulthood we are operating from a childs emotional state trapped in an adult body. ... That is why alot of adults lack emotional intelligence and the ability to handle emotions in a healthy manner without destroying themselves or their relationships. Trauma can be emotional or physical abuse, it can be sexual trauma, it can be a parent that withheld love or affection, favors another child, didn't take care of your emotional needs etc Everyone has some level of trauma and parent wounds, even an absent parent can do damage When we venture into a romantic relationship we take all that unhealed baggage with us to try and resolve, with the other person. This causes more trauma for both parties and can end in more damage than where you started. Your vibrational set-point - this is where you are at right now and from that point of energetic attraction you will attract opportunities and the men on that exact same level.... No matter how many affirmations, makeovers, manifesting or prayers you do it comes from within you, what you attract. Our beliefs are imprinted on us in childhood from observing our parents and adult interactions. The first relationship interaction you made sense of was from them. How did your parents /caregivers behave? We're they kind, loving and patient or were they cold, emotionally unavailable and reactive? This modelling is where you picked up your "idea" of love and a relationship. You may have had an absent parent or even a narcissistic parent that abused you mentally, emotionally, spiritually or physically. All the emotions you experienced in childhood has been coded into your subconscious mind and body - this is your operating system.
