24.01.2022 #loveinisolation // #RWAus20 When I saw that Romance Writers of Australia was taking their annual conference digital, I instantly dropped everything to learn more it. As a new member and soon to be published romance author, I figured I’d be stupid to at least not consider going After a little deliberation, I decided to go for it. The event was happening during my uni break, and really, it couldn’t hurt to learn more about the Australian romance writing and publishing ...community The conference, which ran last week, was amazing and I have no regrets attending. Thanks to the #RWAus20 community tag I was able to still connect with attendees and presenters even though we couldn’t meet in person this year Also a big thank you to the RWAus staff and the presenters for making this possible! I look forward to (hopefully) seeing you all at #RWAus21! Did you attend #RWAus20? Don’t be afraid to say hi! See more

20.01.2022 Missing the days where I could write in cute cafes // As a creative I find there is a particular headspace I need to be in order to focus and write quality content For me, first thing in the morning or during the evening is when I write the best. However, during my undergrad major project, where I was writing Once We Were, I discovered that focusing more intensively on projects where I was working outside of these hours meant that that I needed a change scenery ...throughout the day in order to remain motivated and productive Anyone who knows me will tell you like I hate feeling of someone watching me write over my shoulder. It’s why I generally write in the comfort of my home - however, my exception to this has been cafes I don’t know why, but the ambiance of cafes just seems to work for me as if I was sitting in silence home alone. However, the lack of being able to change sceneries has majorly impacted final edits on Once We Were - the struggle has been real, folks So to my creative pals, I would like to know what keeps you motivated and productive? I’d love to learn your secrets since I have a very important deadline approaching very quickly... . . . . Pentaprism Photography See more

09.01.2022 With 'Once We Were' set to come out later this year, and my Facebook memories reminding me of a special trip I took two years ago, I figured it was time to throw it back to an article I wrote featuring both of these important aspects.

07.01.2022 Manifesto No.2 // #digitaldesign Manifesto No.2 is a reflection upon how I have grown in the last four years since I began my journey in the creative industries It is a compilation of things about me - my creative endeavours, my hobbies, my interests, or even facts about my life ... The original piece of this series was created in response to an assessment prompt during in my first year of undergrad, where I was to construct a manifesto via a media format of my choice As a young writer at the time who was still learning new art forms and skills in the creative fields, I decided to focus my project around something I was passionate about by experimenting with the written word All these years later, I am still so proud of how the original piece turned out. It only made the decision to turn this one-off design piece into a series of reflections that much easier I have also submitted this series to the annual UoN Writers' Club anthology as this year they are accepting creative pieces outside of the traditional written word. Submissions close tomorrow, Monday 5 October, for any UON students looking to enter See more
