Comfortable footwear A keen eye After introductions and a short briefing, we will split into groups to canvass our different sectors in the Village and complete the safety audit checklists/reports. An experienced BCC or police safety officer will accompany each group as we work our way around the village noting observations and issues. The groups will come together at the conclusion to share some of the pertinent observations before handing over our notes to the NHWG team for completion of the audit report. Please note that we have made some significant improvements since our last audit report in 2019 to the follow-up work by QPS, QUT & BCC (Cr Peter Matic) on our behalf. Two year 12 students were seen to take quick action in the face of a dangerous situation. A witness said I had 2 very brave year 12 KG seniors help with traffic control. They just jumped in and helped out. Whilst others just walked by... I am very proud of how brave they were. I want to give them a community service award. Thanks on behalf of your village community
