25.01.2022 Marg says she's given up. Lovely rain but sadly no bowls today. Ladies we have brought our meeting forward to 9.30am this morning if you wish to brave the elements.

23.01.2022 Hi folks, first Friday of October is comimg up fast. Friday the 2nd . This is of course Friday Meal Night at Kilcoy Bowls Club. This month we are serving a choice of Roast Pork with fresh veg or Lasagne GF avail. $15 each. For sweets we will have steamed pudding with custard or Apple and Sourcream slice with fresh cream . There is will a Gluten free sweet available too all for $5.00 each.... Serving from 6.30 pm. Due to Covid 19 restrictions we are limited in numbers so please bookings are essential as we do not like to turn patrons away. Please phone or message with names and numbers Margaret on 0412804198. Also due to Covid 19 restrictions if you could arrive a little earlier it would be appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you all again

23.01.2022 Sadly we have to postpone our trophy day again because of the Covid lockdown in Greater Brisbane. The majority of our lady players went to represent the club at 2 different bowls clubs today, both of which are in the lockdown zone. As a result these ladies have to go into lockdown - had we known about the lockdown before we went we would have stayed in Kilcoy. We are going to have another go at having the trophy day next Tuesday. Meanwhile poor Margaret is getting plenty of practice making dessert. Third times the charm, Marg.

20.01.2022 In case you din't hear about it. The Membership Draw tonight at 7.00 pm is for $200.00 This is to make for no draws over the closed Covid -19 time.Hope to see you there!

19.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just a reminder we are closed Good Friday. Members draw and Easter Raffles will be drawn at 7.00 pm on Thursday night. Members draw is currently $100 and you must be present to win.... Our next Dinner Night is on the 7th of May and we are takings bookings now. Bowls Club will not be opening this Wednesday 31st !! *** NEWS FLASH *** Unfortunately due to the reintroduction of seated drinking, mask wearing, limited movements etc etc the matches scheduled for this Wednesday will now be played on Wednesday 28th April.... Sorry for any inconvenience and keep ya fingers sanitized and crossed it's only for 3 days

07.01.2022 Due to recent glorious rain , we must advise, that Kilcoy Bowls Club Open Pairs Day for Wednesday 7th April has been cancelled. Our green is too wet and with further showers predicted, the surface cannot be adequately prepared for play. We look forward to seeing you next time.

04.01.2022 CHANGES AT THE KILCOY BOWLS CLUB! Thank you, Somerset Regional Council, for your support through the Community Assistance Grants program. The Kilcoy Bowls Club would like to thank the Somerset Regional Council for their Community Assistance Grant to repaint the interior of the Bowls Club. ... Their Grant allowed the Club to get the interior painted and Dado put up around the walls for protection of the paint work at the same time. We used local Trades and suppliers as much as possible during the early days of the Covid-19 Pandemic shut down so as the help them through this difficult time. The Management would also like to thank all the volunteers who also helped with this project with wall preparation, installing dado and other painting that occurred during the project. Our main bar now has its individual name Wrong Bias Bar which raises many conversations and the new look gives the Club a fresh and modern feel, and will help maintain our friendly Club for all to enjoy. We are now looking into new furniture which will complete the picture.
