25.01.2022 Message from the Secretary Cricket Ball Amnesty: The Club Needs Your Help! Have you got good quality balls lying in your bag? ... The club needs them! The club is experiencing a critical shortage of training balls. In addition to this, COVID compliance bans us from sharing balls during a net training session, so we need to purchase more balls than we normally would. This is a massive expense for us, especially since COVID has, like most clubs, put a financial strain on the club. If you’ve got good/reasonable quality balls in your bag, the club politely asks you to help out your fellow club mates and hand them back to us. Especially blokes playing in the 1s, you won’t be using red balls at all this season, so you have no need to have 6 sitting in your bag. Those guys having sessions with Salty can hand them over to him when you see him next, or you can hand them over to me, Equipment manager Luke McPhee or any of the committee members at the club. If you need to arrange a drop off or pickup, just message me and we’ll work something out Thanks, Scotty
