We would like to thank you, our beautiful clients, for your support over the last couple of years. We feel so blessed with how our business has grown, and the growth within ourselves, and are so grateful for your support. ... Your health and wellness is always first and foremost our main focus. Over this time, we have strived to further develop our skills, and our continued interest in being current and updated has helped to set us apart and sees us working closely with other health services. 15.01.2022 2020 is definitely a year of many stresses!! Between bushfires, being isolated, worrying about jobs, money, and family, we have all been mentally challenged in some way. It's OK to not be OK and to reach out, stay connected and seek out help if we need it.

14.01.2022 I wanted to check in and see how you are all going with these restrictions and self isolating. It is important that we look after our mental and physical health, and getting some sort of exercise into our day, whether that be walking or going for a bike ride while we still can. I feel like we are lucky to be here in Geraldton, we have the beautiful foreshore, great weather, and still able to get out and make the most of this, mindfully of course keeping to the govt ru...les of limited contact and 1.5 metres apart. 12.01.2022 Did you know your sitting on the largest muscle in your body ? Glute Max one of the three glute muscles is the largest muscle in the body. Even though one of the largest muscles in the body, this doesnt mean they are the strongest, in actual fact they are commonly inactive and forgotten how to do there job properly due to our daily life activities such as working at a desk job 9-5 which can lead to postural imbalances, when your glutes are weak or tight your lower back mus...cles and hamstrings will have to work harder to accommodate, causing tightness in not only your glutes but your lower back, hips and legs. A few tips on how to keep your glutes healthy to prevent injury If you have a desk job, try getting up and walking around or stretching every 30 minutes. Use glute specific exercises to warm up glutes before a workout, run, any sporting activity really to make sure they are fired up and ready to work efficiently and be sure to stretch afterwards. Stretch your glutes regularly, it doesnt have to be hours of yoga just dedicate 10 minutes to stretching out this large muscle a few times per week

08.01.2022 LEVATOR SCAPULAE MUSCLE AND HOW IT RELATES TO NECK PAIN! The Levator Scapulae is one of several muscles that can cause pain, headaches and dysfunction in the upper back and neck, with active trigger points in the area. It often can become chronically tight, shortened and overactive, limiting movement in both neck and shoulder. The Levator Scapulae originates from the Cervical Vertebra (C1 to C4) and attaches to the inside top edge of the Scapula (shoulder blade). ... Its primary action is to elevate (lift) the scapula, including prevention of a forward head posture by keeping the shoulder blade in a position that supports a vertical alignment of your head on your neck, It also influences neck and shoulder movement! Raising the shoulders due to Stress, Slouching, or incorrect forward head posture puts pressure on this muscle and it may not be strong enough to keep the scapula in this vertical alignment, instead becoming overstressed. Treatments such as Physical Therapy can help address the pain and dysfuction caused and get you back on track. Remedial Massage can reduce the amount of stress placed on this muscle, including treating the other shoulder, neck and upper back muscles involved. Increasing flexibility, working on strength and addressing posture can all help reduce pain and improve the physical function of this overloaded muscle. I have attached a good stretch for this muscle, please remember to reduce the stretch if you feel pain or tingling.

The truth is there is about 5% difference between them all Remedial - A more Targeted massage where we use a range of techniques to target tight muscles, injury, restrictions in movement just to name a few, good for absolutely anyone, from just a tight neck right through to injury or a condition for example sciatic due to muscle tightne...ss Sports - Just means we can change our techniques depending on when you book your massage, pre or post sports, pre sports we wont do any deep work as we dont want to put any stress on the muscles and post will be focusing on relaxing the muscles and using stretching techniques where needed. In between will be very similar to remedial and deep tissue to target any problem areas Deep tissue - working within your tolerance getting into the deeper layer of tissues which we will normally add into remedial, sports and relaxation if you like firmer pressure Relaxation - If you just need to destress, and dont want to be giving feedback throughout the massage which the other styles need for our work to be most effective, book a relaxation, this massage has so many benefits on the mind and body and doesnt have to be targeted to one area We will normally add relaxation techniques into most of our massages, and if youd like relaxation and remedial thats okay as well, we will do our best to tailor your massage exactly how you like it and use a mix of techniques if needed

04.01.2022 Its almost like, we went to sleep in 2020 and have woken up in a different place With massage, we had found our purpose, our passion and where we were supposed to be in life, having to close, it has sort of left us going in circles like lost puppy dogs It has taken up until now to find a new routine, a new balance that works for the family!... However your feeling, I just want you to know its okay, this is something we have never gone through before and however you are feeling, its okay!! You shouldnt feel pressure to do this a certain way, whatever works for you and makes you happy during this time, do that There are so many online resources you can use if you choose to, courses, audio books, baking recipes (My current stage of self isolation ) even exercise locally now which I think is amazing, but its also okay if that all seems overwhelming as well Sometimes it will be cake over exercise and sometimes it will be exercise over cake Be Kind To Yourself !!
