21.01.2022 To all KTC Members. With the latest Government announcements regarding Stage 4 lockdown restrictions the club will be CLOSED until further notice. Please see below notification from Tennis Victoria. Please be advised that your membership will be credited for 20/21. Any member who is experiencing financial hardship please contact Lyn to discuss reimbursement of 2020 fees. We thank you for your continued patience during this unsettling time. Please stay safe and take care of your family and friends.

20.01.2022 Great to see our members hitting on court today and thank you to those who filled in the members log book in the clubhouse. Just a friendly reminder to complete all details in the members logbook. This needs to be completed each time you hit for tracing purposes in case of a Covid outbreak. If this is not completed we will jeopardize the ability for the club to remain open for our members during this time.

Unfortunately the government has requested our club as a Covid testing facility and because of this we are UNABLE to open for members. We will continue to update you with any new information as it comes to hand. In the meantime look after yourselves and family and stay safe.

16.01.2022 Hi all KTC members, Courts 5-6 are coming along nicely. * Please remember all current COVID19 restrictions still apply.*... 1. The Clubhouse is only to be used to access the toilets or to fill your water bottle. 2. No more than 20 people at the club at any one time, this means no socialising around the clubhouse especially when courts are full with players. 3. Always maintain the recommended 1.5 meter social distancing. Thank you for your understanding, let’s all do our little bit. We are all in this together. KTC Committee.

13.01.2022 Hi all KTC members. Just an update regarding club facilities. The New nets have arrived and should be up over the weekend. Work has started on levelling the gap on court 3/4. Please stay off tomorrow till the temporary paint dries. There will still be a few days work on it to complete. In the meantime we will cover it with a non slip safety tape as advised by the repairer.

12.01.2022 Looking for a good hit across the Easter Weekend. Check out the below information on the Easter tournament in Nathalia. Kingsville members have been attending this tournament for 20 years. A great hit, round robin events and plenty of laughs.

Dear affiliates, Following the announcement from the Victorian State Government today, we wish to advise that community tennis can resume from 11:59pm tonight (Wednesday February 17).... The following directions apply: All Tennis activity can return. Masks must be worn indoors (clubhouses and indoor centres) and outdoors when 1.5m physical distancing can't be maintained. Density quotients apply for indoor and outdoor areas. Please follow the COVIDSafe principles: Face masks are required for situations where you are indoors and outdoors when 1.5m physical distancing cannot be maintained. Do not play if you are sick or unwell. Collect details (Full name and Phone number) for contact tracing purposes. Cough or sneeze into your elbow or tissue. Use good hand hygiene. Please ensure your COVIDSafe plan is up to date following today's announcements.

09.01.2022 To all KTC members, please see below government protocols for return to tennis: 1. All members on entry must scan the QR code and complete the appropriate information on your phone upon arrival. If your phone is not compatible please complete the visitors logbook. 2. No more than 10 people maximum to be in the venue at any one time. 3. Singles only to ensure social distancing. 4. No sharing of equipment.... 5. Sanitizer provided, please follow strict hygiene guidelines as displayed. 6. Under no circumstance can a non member play at the club. 7. You must not enter the club if you are feeling sick or have any COVID related symptons. You must get tested and stay home if you are unwell. 8. If coaching is being undertaken at the club, coaching numbers will take precedence over social hitters. 9. There is to be no use of the club house. Any member not abiding by these guidelines will have their membership revoked. Please stay tuned for any further information.

08.01.2022 To all KTC Members, please be advised that the club is no longer a Covid testing facility and has re-opened for MEMBERS ONLY. Until we have the hand over of courts 5 & 6, a maximum of 8 people are allowed in the venue at any one time and we are restricted to playing only singles matches. NO doubles are permitted. Current Tennis Victoria/ government guidelines must be followed. Please see below for key points and Tennis Victoria Guidelines for metropolitan Melbourne. Particip...ants 12 years and older must wear a face covering, unless an exemption applies. If you are doing strenuous physical exercise you do not need to wear a face covering but you must carry one with you. Strenuous exercise can include playing tennis. Key points are: 1 - No more than 2 players per court 2 - No spectators, no players waiting or any other person around the clubhouse or courts whatsoever 3 - Private coaching lessons with Joel will take place and will take precedence for court usage 4 - It is a condition of entry that any member who comes to the club for hitting, MUST sign a visitors book in the clubhouse entrance, or alternatively text me the following details - Name, date and time of hitting, mobile number and swipe code number. All details will be required. Pre and post sanitise hands before signing the book. Free hand sanitiser is provided. 5 - Strictly no use of the clubhouse except for toilets. All surfaces must be wiped down after use including handles etc.. Cleaning product is provided. 6 - Under no circumstance can NON members use the courts. 7 - No sharing of equipment. 8 - Social distance at all times. 9 - Get in, play, get out.

06.01.2022 To all KTC members, In addition to yesterday’s Facebook update please see below the latest Tennis Victoria Restricted Activity Directions that all members must abide by. Please note that the clubhouse can only be entered to access the toilets, hand sanitizer or use the members logbook if your mobile phone does not support the use of the QR code. Please be advised that only singles is permitted at the club at this stage and only 10 people in the venue at any one time.

05.01.2022 Good evening all, Kingsville Tennis Club is postcode 3012 and is therefore subject to the postcode lockdown announced by the Victorian Government this afternoon. We have also consulted with the council for clarity on the restrictions for sporting clubs.... The Club will be completely shut down from midnight on Wednesday 1st for a period of 4 weeks and Council will be disabling all swipe tokens. Regards KTC Committee.
