18.01.2022 WA is on the right track lets hope Queensland and the rest of Australia will do the same - Book Direct - Accommodation providers especially ones like us - small family owned business have been hit hard by the current situation. Article from Accommodation News Australia. The Holiday in WA campaign will also focus hard on encouraging people to book directly with local tourism businesses, rather than through online booking platforms which are mostly owned by large, overseas-base...d corporations, and charge up to 25 percent commission. When you holiday in WA, don’t let your money take a trip overseas, Mr Hall said. Each year, Western Australians are paying $13 million in overseas commissions to book locally based tourism product, costing WA tourism around 150 jobs. We’d like to ask people to consider making the conscious decision to book directly with tourism operators, ensuring their money stays in the local communities they are visiting.

All good soldiers know very well there is nothing to fear while they do what is right and forget all the worries they have met in their duties through the year. A soldier cannot always be great but he can be a gentleman and he can be good right pal to his comrades in his squad. So all you soldiers listen to this - deal fair by all and you'll never be amiss Be Brave! Be Just! Be honest and true men We will remember lest we forget

13.01.2022 Top tips for all coming to the Yungaburra Markets this weekend: - Be prepared - have you got what you need so you can enjoy the Yungaburra Markets experience eg.... Personal hand sanitiser, face mask, your own bags, been to the bathroom before attending the markets? - Plan your visit - be flexible. Hint: early bird gets the goods. We’re open from 7:30am to 12:30pm, stallholders are generally happy to welcome you from 7am. Peak busy times are generally from 9:45am to 11:00am. - Follow the signage - one-way traffic only (clockwise). - Social distance, social distance, social distance! - Download the COVIDSafe app before you attend (Check that COVIDSafe is running when you are out and about, have your Bluetooth turned on). - and stay away if you’re feeling unwell. Together, let’s help stop the spread and keep ourselves and each other healthy. It’s up to you! Respect is key - respect for self, respect for others and respect for property. We’re all in this together! #yungaburramarkets #yungaburra #tablelands #tablelandsunite

02.01.2022 Yungaburra Beautification do an awesome job with fundraising for the beautiful flower baskets around our town. We were devastated when we discovered the loss of our beautiful flower baskets. When we are up and running again we will be sure to once again donate prizes. Last year we donated Buckets of Beer and Sticks, Beer Sticks were kindly donated by Yungaburra Butchery.
