22.01.2022 It was like Little Venice at the Laguna Veneto Social and Bocce Club last night. Last night we celebrated Venezia Night with the spirit of Carnevale. Lots of beautiful outfits and masks bringing colour to the night. A big thank you to the committee and volunteers for helping set up. ... A big shout out to Flora Kendall, Betty Baldassar and Kath Bretza for all their behind the scenes work. Also note the beautiful rocket growing in the veggie patch. Fact: The presidents father Antonio passed away 7 years ago. Sandro kept the rocket seeds of his dads in the chiller section of the fridge. He recently gave the seeds to Lino Zambon ( Lagunas gardening guru) to plant. Amazingly we now have rocket for us to enjoy! Moral: Never say die ....see you soon

We raised a glass to honour our dads in appreciation for all they have done for their family. We also took time to reflect on those fathers who have passed but are with us in spirit. ...
