20.01.2022 We are looking for an enthusiastic, physically fit and multi-talented Assistant Manager/Park All-rounder to help us provide outstanding customer service for our park guests. About the Park Lake Boondooma Caravan and Recreation Park is located 20 kilometres north of Proston in the South Burnett Region of Queensland. The Dam is a drawcard for anglers, campers, bird-watchers and water-sports enthusiasts. The Park is situated on a large 100 acre site with 40 powered sites, 8 cab...ins/villas, a bunkhouse, large areas for unpowered camping, camp kitchen and 5 amenities blocks. The Role The Assistant Manager will assist with all aspects of the day-to-day management of the park including: o Guest reception o Kiosk/retail sales o Cleaning/housekeeping o Food/coffee preparation and service including take-away hot food o Basic mowing and grounds maintenance Skills and Experience o High level computer skills and previous customer service experience required o Previous caravan park and RMS or other booking software experience is highly desirable o Ability to pay attention to detail and comply with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures o Must be willing and able to work weekends and Public Holidays, and relieve in the absence of the Park Managers as required o Current First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and Working with Children Blue Card required Remuneration o Approx 15 - 30 hours per week Level 3 Hospitality Award Rate (Casual) + Superannuation (+ Higher duties paid for relief when Park Managers are not on site) o It is not a requirement to live on site except when relieving the Park Managers. For these periods a powered site or other accommodation will be provided. o A powered site will also be provided if you have your own van and would like to live on site.
