19.01.2022 COMMUNITY ROSE CUTTINGS Each year, Latrobe Council's Green Spaces team cut back the roses in the Latrobe Post Office Reserve to encourage new growth and a flour...ishing season. As part of this activity, they offer cuttings free to the community. If you would like some cuttings from a variety of roses, simply call into the Latrobe Post Office Reserve on Thursday, 30 July between 10.30am until midday. The Green Spaces team will be on hand during this time to explain more about the specific rose and its care so you give it the best possible start in your garden. See more

03.01.2022 What do you do with your used stamps? 2 members have recently been busy trimming a large bag of used stamps to be sent off to the Australian Lions Stamp collect...ors. Since 2004 all stamps sent have been auctioned and amost $200,000.00 raised which has supported the Lions Children's Mobility Foundation in the provision of walkers and other aides for children with cerebral palsy. If you would like donate your used stamps they may be left at Morse's Butchery or at he Latrobe Council Offices or ring 0438241129. (and if you fell like trimmeing then to approximately 3mm, that would be very much appreciated.) See more
