23.01.2022 Today we can confirm that the Tasmanian championship will be contested at Gulf Western and Independent Oils Latrobe Speedway on the 27th of February 2021. The A...ustralian championship will be contested the following weekend at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway on the 4-6th of March 2021. The 13th of March will be the $1000 to win Tassie Cup and will be contested at Solo Hobart Speedway. This will be a huge three weeks of racing for Amca with three major meetings in three weeks. This being confirmed will hopefully entice a number of mainland competitors to head to the Apple Isle to take on Tassie’s best.

08.01.2022 2020 SSA NATIONAL STREET STOCK AND MODIFIED SEDAN TITLES CANCELLED Speedway Sedans Australia wishes to advise competitors that the 2019/2020 SSA National Street... Stock Title and 2019/2020 SSA National Modified Sedan Titles that were scheduled to occur in the latter part of the year in Tasmania have now been cancelled. With the ongoing uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis around the country at present, Speedway Sedans Australia along with the relevant host venues were left with no option but to cancel the 2019/2020 National Titles for SSA Street Stocks and SSA Modified Sedans. Speedway Sedans Australia CEO Greg Lynd explains "It is with regret that our organisation has to announce that these eagerly anticipated National Titles will not go ahead later in the year due to the current situation around the COVID-19 pandemic". "It had been hoped that the border restrictions would have been relaxed by the time the two National Titles were to occur in Tasmania but as time has gone on that is now an unlikely scenario" Lynd continues. As a result of these cancellations Speedway Sedans Australia can announce that the 2022/2023 SSA National Street Stock Title has been allocated to the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway in Latrobe Tasmania. The 2022/2023 SSA National Modified Sedan Title has been allocated to the Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway with dates for both events to be confirmed in the months ahead. Speedway Sedans Australia would like to thank the promotional teams and host clubs at both the Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway and Cranes Combined Cranes Carrick Speedway along with the competitors from both classes for their patience, understanding and co-operation as we navigate these unprecedented times together. An announcement regarding the 2019/2020 SSA National Production Sedan Title to be held at the Ellenbrook Speedway in Western Australia will be released in the coming days ahead. Ends Release

07.01.2022 2020/2021 SSA NATIONAL TITLES WITHDRAWN Official Release Speedway Sedans Australia wishes to advise that the 2020/2021 SSA National Titles have all been postpo...ned due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 restrictions around the country at present. With no definitive timetable with regards to the easing of all borders, crowds and additional imposed restrictions in different jurisdictions, Speedway Sedans Australia in conjunction with the host venues of this season's National Titles have decided to postpone the hosting of those events until the 2021/2022 season. CEO of Speedway Sedans Australia Greg Lynd explains, "It is with regret that the SSA has had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone all five of our National Titles until the 2021/2022 season". "With border restrictions and social distancing requirements continuing to be an ongoing feature of everyday life in Australia at present due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, as an organisation we believe it is in everyone's best interests to not push forward with our five National Titles for this season" Lynd continued. The greatest of opportunities must be available for all competitors, spectators and those respective venues in attending and hosting a National Title, with the current situations and what potentially and hypothetically lies ahead has indeed cast the biggest shadow for all involved and across the success of all National Titles. "In light of this decision we can announce that the host venues for the 2020/2021 season will be moved into the following year with the dates for those National Titles to be confirmed in consultation with all relevant parties" Lynd concluded. Speedway Sedans Australia would sincerely like to thank the five venues who will host SSA National Titles in the 2021/2022 season for working with our organisation for the betterment of the entire sport. We thank all our competitors across our six National Classes for their patience, understanding and co-operation as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times together. The 2021/2022 SSA National Title Host Venues SSA Junior Sedans- ACT Speedway (Canberra), Australian Capital Territory SSA Street Stocks- Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway, Western Australia SSA Production Sedans- IBRP Kingaroy Speedway, Queensland SSA Modified Sedans- Heartland Raceway, Moama New South Wales SSA Super Sedans- Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway, Latrobe Tasmania Ends Release
