24.01.2022 Our Raffle came to a close on the 21 of December. The winners where drawn by lovely Sarah from Bunnings Bethania. First prize winner Tracy from Springwood still has to receive the $300 Petrol vouchers. Second prize winner Annette from Cornubia has received the $200 scratchie and gift voucher tree today. Congratulations to all the winners. Merry Christmas and happy new year to all. A big thank you to all the people that supported our club through the year.

20.01.2022 Today we had the pleasure to listen to John and John from Robina Lions Club talking about their project to buy a mobile dialysis unit for Queensland. Their aim is to raise $250000. The purpose of the bus is to help people who need dialysis to be able to travel without relying on hospitals. More information is available from Robina Lions Club.

17.01.2022 Hi We had our last meeting on Tuesday in the backyard of the Presidents house. We decided we will not meet again till the Health Department declares it safe. 17.01.2022 We are going to very busy this weekend. On Saturday we are selling raffle tickets at Club Beenleigh in Alamein St Beenleigh . On Sunday we are having a BBQ at Bunnings Bethania. 100% of the proceeds from both events will go to the bushfire victims and volunteers. Bunnings Bethania bought all the snags, bread , onions and drinks. ... A big thank you to Bunnings Bethania and Club Beenleigh to make it possible for us to raise money. See more

12.01.2022 Buddy Bench - Marsden State Primary School The Lions Club of Logan City Marsden installed the Buddy bench on Wednesday 5th December at Marsden State Primary School. The Club were supported financially by the local State Member for Woodridge Cameron Dick and Division 5 Logan City Councillor Jon Raven. Buddy Benches are all about inclusion and fostering a sense of friendship. They are installed somewhere prominent in the school yard and children who are looking to make new friends or broaden their friendship group will hang out at the Buddy Bench. As schools make the Buddy Bench part of their culture it becomes a great focal point in the school community and helps to reduce isolation and build a real sense of mateship in the schoolyard.
