03.01.2022 On Monday, Vanessa Leishman appeared in the Family Court of Australia in two matters involving Trans-Tasman legal issues.One was in the Adelaide registry and the other in the Melbourne registry. Both appearances were via telephone from our home office in Brisbane. One client was located in another State and the other in New Zealand. They also both attended their court event via electronic means. We await with interest whether these electronic procedures are used more regularly once the Courts fully re-open.
