Lets stand up for ourselves, and stand up for each other. No one deserves to experience abuse. https://www.police.sa.gov.au/your-safety/dvds

15.01.2022 This cartoon from yesterdays NSW Fairfax says it all. Interestingly Australian Citizenship can be withdrawn for acts of Terrorism, but not for acts of Domestic Violence, even though Domestic Violence affects more of the Australian population and the after effects for the victim can be exactly same. Something needs to be done.

11.01.2022 Beautiful book review for Let My Voice Be Yours from Narelle Graham ABC Radio Adelaide. "Emily Archer is one, damn, impressive woman. Smart, brave, kind. Emily was in an abusive relationship that nearly cost her, her life.... None of what happened to Emily is her fault, but it did teach her a lot. So, when Emily recovered from an attempt on her life, by someone she once loved, she started thinking about what shed learned. Emily analysed her relationship, the violence, how it escalated, why it was hard to leave. Why? Because she hopes her hindsight will improve others future. Because telling her story might save someones life. Maybe yours. Emilys book can help you spot the early signs of a violent partner. It can help you plan to get out of a violent relationship. It can help you navigate access to people who can help you. Read it, share it. Look out for your friends. Be the hero youve been waiting for. (Those last seven words are Emilys not mine )" Thank you Narelle See more

07.01.2022 Spoke to around 80 women about my experience of Domestic Violence. It was lovely to see women of all ages there, from young women at high school to mothers and grandmothers. Laura from ABC radio interview will be aired on Friday - International Womens Day. A topic that needs a voice and needs to stop.

06.01.2022 Tomorrow night if you want to come along and celebrate the courage of women xx

06.01.2022 I have written a song, that I hope to share with you soon. It touched the heart of my youngest son, who hasnt yet read my book, and may never, thats his choice. What a beautiful feeling when your children hug you, the way you once hugged them.

05.01.2022 If you missed me on ABC Radio, follow the link and press play on the audio file. https://www.letmyvoicebeyours.com.au/gallery/

05.01.2022 We all express our chronic emotions physically. Great example of how anxiety expresses itself as stomach ache. Its an important connection to grasp. Chronic physical conditions can be helped by addressing the emotions the person is holding onto.

05.01.2022 Interesting facts. Australian laws mean dual citizens cannot will not have their citizenship revoked for committing domestic violence acts, even though 1 in 4 women suffer domestic violence. Dual citizens can have their citizenship revoked if they partake in terrorist acts, even though you are 40 times more likely to be struck by lightening than to be involved in a terrorist attack! Who are causing the most terror??? This is insane.
