23.01.2022 And I will not make the feet of Israel wander anymore from the land which I gave their fathers 2 Kings 21:8 NKJV We thank the Lord for obedient Fathers who have gone before us, to inherit all the good that God has in store for us.... We thank God for His anointing on our fathers, and for the promise of His blessings that overflow from the fathers, to their children, and their children’s children. To the fathers out there, we say to you that you are blessed, chosen, highly favoured, anointed and equipt for every good work. Keep on submitting and walking in the things of God. Happy Father’s Day!

18.01.2022 Join us at 10am TODAY for the Liberty & Kalayaan Christmas service.

18.01.2022 Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Well here is one instruction from Paul that will test your Christianity. Bless those who persecute you. Bless those means do good, want the best, to encourage and to desire all things for the good of the person. Jesus said that even the worst sinner will love those who love them, yet Jesus was not one to conform to what the world demands. Jesus died on the cross to save all of mankind who absolutely hates him... because of our fallen nature. Jesus sees the created good in man who is made in the image of God Himself yet having been corrupted by sin. Jesus died so that he could bless mankind aka enemies of the kingdom of God, and we are commanded to do likewise. Surely the love of Jesus in you is greater than any evil, any hurt done against you. No word or action can be stronger than the love of Jesus demonstrated by the shed blood on the cross. Seventy times seven is still not enough for a hurt to be stronger than the love of Jesus. So Paul the apostle and Paul the writer of sacred scripture can speak these words that resonate in our spirit. Bless and do not curse want the good not the bad. Speak out God’s favour rather than the revenge and ugly of the devil. Paul the murderer of Stephen and probably other believers, Paul the persecutor of the early church can speak with absolute authority when it comes to blessing others. He has been on the side of cursing as we have been yet in a moment and in a twinkling of the eye, he met Jesus and his curse became a blessing. Let our blessing flow for we were once in the curse of death and now we have been redeemed and restored. Let us take every curse that tries to attach to us and make it impotent by returning that curse with a blessing. Take the negative and make it a positive! Take the hurt and salve it with the love of Jesus. See more

17.01.2022 7 MAy 2020 Romans 12:13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. This next verse in our series of Paul’s practical instructions to t...he Romans is simply simple. Those who call themselves the Lord’s people, those who follow Jesus, are to be the recipients of our hospitality. Practice hospitality is the instruction that requires an understanding of what it means to be generous, to be clear minded and realistic about our riches in Christ. It may be money because our world revolves around how much money we have and how we use it, yet our riches are far greater and more extensive than our bank balance. Many of us have time on our hands. Many of us are encouragers extraordinaire with a smile and friendly words. Many of us are kind and gentle. Many of us have riches a car we do not often use or possessions just sitting in a cupboard gathering dust. Many of us want to see our families and our friends grow in hope and comfort especially when times are tough. Hospitality requires the means of being generous and the will to be generous. We as the Lord’s people need to be generous, so do we have a mindset and do we have the heartbeat of blessing others? Let us practice hospitality with our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord but do not stop there. Reach out into our community to bring relief to the poor and the lonely and the hurting. The world can be a tough place to live yet we have been rescued from it, restored to the kingdom of Jesus Christ. We are blessed beyond measure so let us bless. Our riches are countless with great hope and eternal encouragement in abundance. Paul wrote an identical piece to the Galatians. Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Let us do good to all people. Do good to our fellow believers but just do not stop there. Take the opportunity Look for the opportunity! See more

15.01.2022 We are called to connect with others This virus thingey has road blocked our normal customs and habits so a new way is needed Yet the scripture God’s word has not changed and is still relevant today It is the new way because the old way of man is a poor cousin... Paul’s response to our situation is in Romans 12 amongst other passages Romans 12:15-16 (NIV2011) 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. There has to be a connection between us and them We were all in a mess that is why we have found ourselves in Jesus Christ We come to a Sunday service to be amongst like minded, like spirit people This is good but it is better to be connecting with others Monday to Saturday Rejoice with those who rejoice let us be a people who declare the goodness of Jesus in good times Yet let us also be a people who declare the goodness of Jesus when things are tough Mourning is Critical Our strength in Christ should be so strong that we can be a well spring of hope and resilience for those doing it tough Our strength should take us from despair when all is lost to eternal hope and present courage Let us draw upon the strength of the Holy Spirit we need to flow in his strength, in his passion, in his wisdom every day Let us see the opportunities to bring hope every day in every day situations 16 Live in harmony with one another. Live in harmony with one another We have Jesus Christ as our bedrock, our protector, our fortress, our friend There is a family connection with Christ as our head There should be no disharmony within the family of God We can have a difference of opinion but Christ is supreme!! Let us work out of the strength that is the family of God to bless others Let us keep short accounts forgive others quickly, lose the anger or frustration quickly Allow the joy of Jesus to fill our hearts and minds, our homes, our workplaces Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. We are all equal in the sight of God So why do we think we are better than someone else The more in Christ we are, the more humble we should be Do not be proud but boast in the things of Christ People of low position is a statement of what the world thinks of people It is not a statement of how we consider the status of people All people are precious and we must have this deep love for everyone

13.01.2022 12 April 2020 A message to all our friends

12.01.2022 My Sermon Notes for Romans 12 part 3 for Sunday the 19th April Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. There ...is a real difference in the followers of Jesus compared to those who have not yet met Jesus. There is an enthusiasm, a zest for life and a passionate desire to make people and this world free from everything that shackles and binds and destroys. Yet the battle against the forces of darkness and the seemingly overwhelming pressure of sin and ungodly living can take its toll on each believer. So the gifts of Jesus given to us through his Holy Spirit are very important. By using the gifts given to us we are able to fulfil what Jesus has laid before us. We need the right mindset as well and Paul puts it in a most elegant way never be lacking in zeal. Never be lacking in that energy which comes from God himself. Keep your spiritual fervour, the passion for the things of God and most poignantly a passion for others with the sacrificial love of Jesus. Be devoted in love and have love in action, yet this third aspect of life is critical. Be passionate in your expression of love. Never grow tired of doing good. Serve the Lord wholeheartedly and the promise in Isaiah will surely be yours. Isaiah 40:31 those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. See more

08.01.2022 2020 0426 Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. What delight these words bring to the downtrodden and the hurt. Be JOYFUL i...n hope, a hope that only Christ can bring into eternity. The world offers peace and a hope but that is limited by the constraints of the world. The world cannot conquer death, it can only promise it. Yet a resounding joy rings out every day as our Lord Jesus took death upon himself and defeated it once and for all. So be JOYFUL in hope. Yet affliction will come for that is only what the world can deliver. We stand on our doorstep these days and we see the reality of our world. We see the lonely and the hurt isolated, we see the sick and the victims given nothing but fear and gloom by the things of men yet I will be patient in all this. I know my Lord Jesus you know your Lord Jesus. Nothing of this world can bring a follower of Jesus down! WE have a great hope, an eternal hope. I will be faithful in prayer when the Spirit calls upon me for a loved one, for a hurting or lost person, for him who is desperate, for her who is trapped by the things of the world I will rise up in my spirit, I will come forth with the righteous and earnest prayer of a believer in Jesus Christ. I will be the agent of change in this world of mine as I open the door through my prayer for Jesus to bring life and joy and peace to all. Join with me to allow the grace and mercy of Jesus to flow. Be Joyful, Be Patient, Be Faithful See more
