Our red Goalkeeper shirts (unwashed is ok), Match balls, training balls, cones and bibs (unwashed is ok). 18.01.2022 VALE MAUREEN BELL It is with great sadness we advise Lilli Pilli Football Club members of the passing of Maureen Bell on 10.10.20. Maureen was honoured with LPFC Life Membership in 1981 after devoting over a decade to the running of both the Lilli Pilli Oval and Glenn McGrath Oval canteens. Maureen for a number of years led our Ladies Auxiliary (a significant part of our great history as a club). The Ladies Auxiliary in the late 70s led all social activity and fund raising f...or the club. A gameday highlight for a child back in the 70s was returning an empty Bert's soft drink bottle to the canteen, receiving the 10 cent refund and spending it on a lolly bag ....made up by Maureen. During these years, Maureen also took on the role of Manager in her son Stuart's team (see photo U/7A 1975) and Dean's u/9A team 1979 (see photo with a young Frank Bova as Coach) as well as the Ladies Auxiliary Committee (Maureen is front row third from right) Maureen had very fond memories of her time as a volunteer at LPFC and her significant contribution to the Club was appreciated by committee members and players alike. On behalf of past and present LPFC members, we pass on our sincere condolences to Maureen's husband Eric, and their sons Stuart and Dean. Maureen's funeral will be held on Thursday at 3pm at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland. See more

17.01.2022 2021 COACHING COURSE - FOR GRASSROOTS - ENROLL EARLY We have made arrangements with the assistance of Sutherland Shire Football to convene a grassroots course, over a few hours early in the 2020 season to help our miniroo and junior coaches Monday March 8th 2021 6.30pm 8.30pm @ LPO - Meet at LPO Clubhouse Community Room... Participants must register and we recommend early registration. https://education-ffa.sportingpulse.com/Entry/ The course is aimed at coaches training younger players. The 2 -3 hour course is fully practical and encourages the coach to develop practices that are based on FUN. The emphasis is on natural development i.e. learning by PLAYING football. No coaching but organising FUN football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game. Another highlight of the course is that the coaches are exposed to basic rules of the game as well as tips and hints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting.

03.01.2022 OUR SEASON IS COMING TO AN END Wow. It has been an extremely challenging and in many respects an unexpected and rewarding season for everyone and its strange were finishing this weekend without the picnic and presentation events many of us have come to cherish. Who predicted so much September football for all age groups and grades ? Our priority, aside from staying healthy and safe, through our preseason, through the Covid lockdown and throughout our modified season hasnt ...changed. Weve wanted to see everyone out there playing for fun, playing in competitions and enjoying all the physical, mental, social and community benefits of team sport. Our registered player numbers have been staggering in recent years and we trust its a positive reflection on us, the growth of participation of kids (and particularly girls) in our area. The scale of what we do brings unique and epic challenges to our volunteer executive committee and all our broader general committee members. I cant thank our volunteers enough. There are many super human achievements through the year, some even go unnoticed, but they make this club great. It starts with signup, registration, selection, grading, team formation, equipment, uniforms, preparing fields, managing money, communication and social media and whole lot more behind the scenes throughout the season. Here at the end of this unique season weve also got miniroo trophies, equipment return, assessments and team photos to think about on top of the final weekend of football. Thanks to all our wonderful coaches and managers. Without you, there wouldnt be teams. Thank you to our miniroo refs too, youve done a great job and the waitlist to join the miniroo ref squad is already long for 2021. Junior team Coaches and Managers - if you havent already done so - photos are ready for collection as are miniroo trophies and show bags. For all team coaches and managers - please remember to return your kit bags this weekend to LPO. This is our first ever first past the post last round. For teams in contention, good luck this weekend ! For every team, whether you are first or last, savour the game and remember only a few months ago what lock down was like and how deeply you wanted to get a ball and kick it around amongst friends. Enjoy your game ! We cant have big presentation and social events this year, so hopefully well have more freedom in 2021 and celebrate our 60th birthday and award those who achieved playing milestones this year (more on that tonight). If youre celebrating your season together as a team, please send us photos and well share the fun around. Enjoy the final round! Greg Storey President Lilli Pilli FC

03.01.2022 The SWEs are 2020 Champions !!
