She'll be supported by our great friend @thisislaurahyde, and the hugely talented @csoke ... 19.01.2022 SURPRISE! We said that last weekend was our last gig of the year well, it was technically, but then the opportunity came up to support these outstanding artists! We cherish them so much, as part of our community, and you should come and see them all in one show on November 17th @theoxfordartfactory We met @ayayvesmusic last year through The Songwriting Prize and were blown away by her talent. She leaves it all on the stage and this gig will coincide with new music from this... ferocious lady! We've worked with @boulevardemusic ever since the same event last year and collaborated on their excellent ISO-MODE festival earlier in the year. And as for @bernievantiel, there's no finer beatboxer that we've seen. Coupled with amazing songwriting, she's someone you need to witness. Community and connection are everything. However, fixating on things that have been-and-gone takes up so much time and energy and often leaves us feeling more anxious and concerned than the ACTUAL issue itself. We know that letting go is not as easy as the bumper sticker suggests! BUT, if you do keep going over and over and OVER the same issues in your head, then please reach out and talk to someone about it. The act of speaking it out into the universe could be the perfect remedy and all it takes to put your BEAUTIFUL mind at ease and bring you back to the most important time of your life... NOW!

We're on the jar this month and your support could go a long way 2. If you live in Melbourne, and enjoy live music, consider buying a ticket to the Leading Lights fundraiser happening on 18th Feb ... 3. If you recycle your containers in NSW, consider recycling them at a Return&Earn machine and donating the funds to us. Simply scan the barcode before you recycle and hit "Payout" when you're finished and we receive 100% of funds raised! We have a huge calendar for 2021 so every bit of support helps us to empower musicians and music industry professionals to develop and maintain positive mental health!

08.01.2022 October is Mental Health Month, a month that includes International Mental Health Week and World Mental Health Day (10th October). Days, weeks and months of awareness are important but, really, prioritising our mental health should be a 365-day-of-the-year thing. If you have made the decision to look after your mental health better then this is, however, a great month to start with so many great resources around. Our website has a wealth of mental health resources for the mus...ic industry, and the Mental Health Australia page has some amazing tips and resources for the month. On World Mental Health Day we will also be involved in two events, one in Sydney and one in Adelaide. 07.01.2022 Almost 12 months since entries opened for The Songwriting Prize 2020, with the theme of "Connection", it's time to announce the winner of the competition, and this year it goes to Niamh Watson Music, from NSW!! Her song "Wherever You Are", co-written with Elaskia, scored a perfect 60/60 from one judge and received comments including: "Connection x 10 here!!" and "Beautiful voices, beautiful lyrics, wonderful melody." Niamh will receive some incredible prizes and we can't w...ait to hear the output from some of them. 04.01.2022 Late night appreciation post This guy, @jordanmerrick18, has to be one of the greatest people that we've had the pleasure of meeting, and working with. As well as being a judge for The Songwriting Prize (both remote and in person at 3 of our Brisbane events), he's also a wonderful Ambassador, has hosted an event for us and has been working absolutely tirelessly behind the scenes on Torch Fest Brisbane.... He has done all of this from the greatness of his heart, and has expected nothing in return. On Saturday we'll work side-by-side with him at @torch_fest Brisbane and he'll also be playing a set with his band. He is truly one of life's best and if you see him on Saturday please take the time to say hello. You won't regret it.
