24.01.2022 After much deliberation and careful consideration, we have decided to temporarily close the salon doors. Effective upon COB today, Tuesday the 24th of March, we will cease operations for a period of two weeks to begin with and then make weekly reassessments. Whilst there is no direct threat linked to our premises, we now feel we have a social responsibility to help mitigate potential risk of infection within our community.... We understand that some of you have appointments booked in and will be in touch to reschedule them. During our closure period, we would like to offer you all a free home delivery service on hair and skincare products within a 5km radius, and postage outside this area for a flat $5 fee. Please also keep us in mind for gifts! Online gift vouchers are available with an extended 3 year expiry. We are all in this together so keeping our clients and staff safe is our priority. 07.01.2022 To our valued clients, the short version is yes we are still open. Read below for how we are adapting to the new guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic. The Australian Health Department have announced that hair and beauty professionals are permitted to continue normal operations. Thus, we will continue to service our clients until further notice. We do in this instance request that the following be observed -... If you have been in contact with any person that may have been diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19, please refrain from entering the salon and reschedule your appointment by phone for after 21 days. Upon entry, please go to the first room past reception and wash your hands with Microsheild soap provided at the hand basin, dry hands and use hand sanitiser. Please wipe basin down for the next client. Please observe the recommended social distancing of 1 metre where possible within the salon. We will provide hand sanitiser and a box of gloves near the entry. Feel free to use as required. Over and above keeping industry standard sterilisation procedures, we assure you that the salon and bathroom surfaces will be sanitised hourly as and extra precaution.
