01.01.2022 The interpretation of the Menora Wild Honey label. (We did have a winner, but in my usually disorganised style I didn't get his name or photo, you know who you are, please comment.) The Interpretation Menora is a suburb in Perth, which although supposedly named after to the now closed Menora Theater, has strong links the Perth Jewish community and post war migration. ... The name Menora comes from the seven candled candlestick the Menorah. Menorah can also mean temple. The streets of Menora are arranged as a menorah and the suburb also contains a synagogue. The bees on the label are organised as a seven candle menorah with the words wild honey as the base and the smaller bees as the candles. The sharp minded will notice that it is usually only the 9 branched Chanukkah that has the prominent central light, the extra sharp will notice that it is not prominent but mealy lit. Also and most importantly the honey comes from the suburb of Menora and is cut from a wold hive.
