21.01.2022 ****Fertility Expo Update**** Hi, just to give you all an update on the next Sunshine Coast Fertility Expo. After discussions with the venue around Covid-19 res...trictions & the uncertainty still surrounding 2021, we have made the decision to cancel the event we were planning for February next year. This saddens me, as after having to cancel the expo for this year I was looking forward to it being even bigger & better next year. Thank you to the people & businesses who have reached out to me hoping we would hold another event, and who knows we may be able to towards end of next year. I do hope you understand that the uncertainty with restrictions & numbers is just making it too difficult at this stage to make decisions. HOWEVER!!! All is not lost. 19.01.2022 Why is the pineapple the symbol for infertility? This started off with the fact the pineapple (mainly the core) contains bromelain, which can act as a blood thinner and anti-inflammatory, and the theory is because of these reasons, by eating pineapple on the day of your IVF transfer it can help with impantation of the embryo into the uterus. Even though there is no research evidence this is correct, the pineapple is now the global symbol for infertility.... For those struggling with their fertility, the pineapple has also since become a community symbol of hope and friendship for those trying to conceive, no matter where they are around the world.
