17.01.2022 Lake Cressbrook changes each time we visit.

17.01.2022 As we prepare to leave Scotland after a month here, some general observations: 1. The Scots are great fun. Hilarious actually. If you can't have fun here then... 2. They have the BEST ICECREAM IN THE WORLD!!! Not kidding. ... 3. Pronunciation is completely arbitrary. As an example, the towns of Mallaig & Arisaig are geographically close, similarly spelt & said completely differently. Good luck. 4. If you value your elbows be careful where you walk on the footpath. Some vehicles actually overhang the footpath it is so squishy. And they have signs telling you to make sure you don't get hit by traffic on the footpath. 5. I have given up trying to say any word ending in 'ch' - e.g. Broch or loch. My Australian accent doesn't do them justice. 6. They aren't lying when they say the seafood here is fantastic. I am not a seafood eater normally, but it seriously rocks here. 7. They also aren't lying when they say the sun rarely comes out & it rains a lot. Green for a reason as they say... 8. The single lane country roads are seriously scary the first 60,000 times you meet an oncoming car. 9. Finally, I can't wait to come back. Scotland is the BEST
