21.01.2022 Loz has been painting for the last twenty years throughout various parts of western australia and victoria. His focus being the vast empty spaces, the unsure horizons and big skies of this dramatic landscape. HIs influence lies in our early australian impressionists such as streeton and condore and their true australian colour and composition. more recent direction owes it self to the light and compositions of wolfhagen and storrier. ... HIs interest is in the familiar patterns etched into the landscape. fence lines, gravel roads, stock tracks, millions of years of various erosion that come together into patterns so familiar to us all. HIs paintings are large scale, vibrant, ethereal and sit strong alongside or juxtaposed against contemporary architecture or traditional spaces. Loz is represented in corporate and private collections throughout Australia, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany and North America.
