25.01.2022 GIPPSLAND LIFELINE DEPRESSION/SUICIDE AWARENESS SOCIAL - SEPTEMBER 27TH IS CANCELLED BUT....... As you would all guess, we are not able to have our Depression/Suicide Awareness Social this year in aid of Gippsland Lifeline. This would have been our 3rd year and as some would know has become a very important fundraiser for us. ... During this time the role of Lifeline has become even more important and with a lot less funds. L.V Country/Rebel Bootscooters and Country Soul have decided to run a Get-Fit-September to raise as much money as we can while we are all in isolation. It will run for the whole of September and the goal is to become a little healthier. You can choose what your goal is for the month but it must be in the vain of Good Health. Examples, Lose Weight / Walk so many kilometers per week / Walk so many hours / Dance so many hours / Give up Chocolate;) / or something that would help you become healthier. With sponsorship from family and friends hopefully we can raise money by the end of the month when we reach /or nearly reach our goal . If you choose, you may do a donation instead. It would be wonderful if you could see yourself supporting this cause and help us raise some much needed funds for Gippsland Lifeline. I have attached a flyer and also a sponsorship form. These are also available from the website www.lvbootscooters.com If you have family or friends that would like to join in they are more than welcome. Gippsland Lifeline do an absolute amazing job and would be great if we can assist them in their endeavor to help others

24.01.2022 Lifeline Last Tuesday received the most calls it had ever in its 57 year history receiving a call every 30 second. Dont forget to join our Gippsland Lifeline Fundraiser Sept 1st - Sept 30th....Join in and not only raise money for a such worth while cause. Please get behind us and help us raise some much needed money to help those who help others in real need. Depression and Suicide are very real and especially during this time we a living in. I will keep working on some more...takes me a little time to put them together. The earliest one was 1990 ....soooo last century lol. 19.01.2022 NEW ONLINE RAW BEGINNERS CLASS Didnt get a chance to start at the start of the year...Life got in the way....Well we dont have that excuse now and now is the time to try a new addiction / exercise and enjoy good music. And all in the comfort of your own home.... Commencing Sept 1st thru to Dec 1st New Online Videos will be available each Tuesday which you are able to watch any time day or night and as many times as you wish. The videos will step you through all the basic steps as you exercise and enjoy good music. You will get all the benefits from Line Dancing and when 2021 arrives you will be able to join our wonderful classes and enjoy the social side as well. 18.01.2022 Morning Everyone....Hope everyone has been busy making and getting their masks ready cause now us Vics are all in a "Non-Face Off". Heres hoping that the non-believers grow brains and do the right thing. But....in the comfort of your own home you can still do lots of dancing:) Another Golden Oldie Video went up this morning for the Intermediates and also a Re-Teach/Demo of The Real World 2003. I dont really see the sense of Teaching new dances at the moment and to be quite honest I cant see us coming back in the near future, so in the mean time I will continue to do a walk down memory lane and revise some of the Golden Oldies that were popular. 17.01.2022 Funny looking back through the post....Well it must be getting close...maybe May...maybe June...maybe July...maybe 2030 :)....who really knows. As it stands at the moment Sports Activities are still set at only 10 per group....Not much good to us. We will see what Aug brings but I have now thrown my crystal ball out the window. Thank you to all who have returned the survey....this will indeed help me when /if we are able to get classes back up and running. If you havent y...et....could you please let me know your thoughts. I stopped doing extra videos thinking that we were getting close to coming back....but i will look at getting some more done. I really dont want to teach a whole lot of new ones so i am thinking i will do videos of classic golden oldies. Stay safe....this is not going to go away unless we all do the right thing...so for the time being....keep on dancing in the lounge room:)

14.01.2022 Well Big Start to the start of Spring....Which even tho we are still in Lock Down is a beautiful time of the year....so...sit back...breathe... and just enjoy mother nature coming to life again. Hope everyone remembered to start their "Get-Fit-September" in aid of Gippsland Lifeline. We cant be together raising money this year but we can still come together to help Lifeline who are desperately trying to help those in need...especially during this bizarre time we all find o...urselves in. Forms are available on the website. AND welcome to all who participated in our first lesson of our new Raw Beginners classes. 164 views in our first day so really hope you enjoyed your first class. These classes will run weekly until the end of the year...2021 you will have a head start into our wonderful world of Line Dancing :).....Take care everyone...Really missing my classes but want to see everyone back safe and sound....So in between time Wear your mask and look after yourself xx See more

11.01.2022 Ok Guys...we must nearly be getting close...im hoping that we can start first week in July but yet to hear anything from the shire so its a wait and see.....In between time....no excuse for no dancing. Ok...we have an Gentle Improver/Improver dance...so it has gone into both sections called Young Love .next we have an Improver dance called Burn and last up we have an Intermediate + dance called Dare to Love. So no excuse not to dance and by the way....Big round of applau...se to you guys cause the videos have just hit 4000 :) Way to go. Keep dancing, we will soon be back. 09.01.2022 Well I was really hoping that the start of July would be the start of our classes but as Victoria has taken a backward step we still have to wait for a little longer. All I can say is hang in there as there is really nothing we can do for the time being. The Video library is still there to give you a little bit of fix. For those who didnt get a chance to check out the VLDA Annual Gala Ball last night you can check out the video that the committee put together and have a bit of a dance with them. They did a wonderful job and congrats to the committee for taking the time to put it together. 08.01.2022 Please Note: ..The Wellington Shire have suggested No Class on Thursday at Heyfield due to the rising floods. I will send out emails/texts but please spread the word. SUNDAY'S SOCIAL we will have to wait and see if the weather is kind to us. I will make a decision on Friday and let everyone know early...So watch this space regarding the Social. 07.01.2022 Were so blown away by the generosity of Gippslanders helping those in need. Those we help are so grateful for their communitys support as well. We thought we...d share one of the thank you messages we received recently from a Sarsfield family. We would like to thank GERF for the wonderful assistance given to us following the impact of severe drought and bushfire on our Sarsfield farm. The generosity of donors and organisations such as yours has been instrumental in helping us through a period of extreme difficulty. We will always remember the kindness of others.
