15.01.2022 #OnThisDay in January 1940, the first contingent of the 2nd Australian Imperial Force embarked on their journey to the Middle East to enter the Second World War.... They travelled in cruise liners used as troop carrier ships and were flanked by warships. Around 13,000 troops were on their way. Many of the soldiers who departed Australia as part of this contingent had arrived in Ingleburn in early November 1939 and were now off to war only two months later. Between 1939 and 1945, nearly a million Australians served in the Second World War. Today, we take a moment to remember those first troops who left Australia bound for the war. : Australian War Memorial

06.01.2022 Macarthur Care is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work within the Macarthur area on a part-time/casual basis. The successful candidate will be providing clinical and personal care interventions to a range of people in their own homes.The majority of care you will be providing will be basic and advanced wound care, catheter management, PEG tube management, PICC management, conducting holistic health assessments and Developing client care plans.
