22.01.2022 I have updated the Lockdown Racing calendar this week will be a repeat of the Superkarts around Phillip Island. Then we move onto the GP3 cars on some cool F1 style tracks. I have added an extra 2. hour Le Mans race after the shorter 70 minute races in the LMP1 cars, just to see who is keen to see what enduro racing is like, you can use 2 drivers or just 1 but a fast car on a tough track with day and night driving thrown in it should be a lot of fun. Feel free to share the info and lets get some more drivers on the grid.

22.01.2022 Gentle reminder that we have Lockdown Racing tonight but I am under the weather so I wont be racing but the server will still be setup and ready for those keen to race ;) . 19.01.2022 We went over the weekend to the Bundaberg Kart Clubs 4SS Invasion race meeting. Having never been there it was always going to be a harde task than a track we know, but whilst it was being run anti clockwise it helped a little as it hadnt been raced that direction for about 5 years. 18.01.2022 Well day one done and dusted at the Qld State Titles, Casey has qualified in P20 out of 24. He managed a PB for Qually and his kart is working ok for now. He is still learning of course since this is his first race with the 125 and hoping he has. A good run over the next two days.

18.01.2022 I have emailed out a few new links to the Cadet and Junior classes for this Sundays Round 1 of the eSeries. Please get them sorted well before Sunday as on race day I am not going to be able to help anyone get sorted out, but will have plenty of time except for Thursday, when I am back at the hospital.

18.01.2022 Still zero entries recieved for the eSeries this Sunday at AMP, so please read the sup regs and enter from the link with your name race number and class. If no entries are recieved then I simply will have to cancel again. I hope to see some emails coming in with driver entries before Friday nights cut off time as per the sup regs.

18.01.2022 I have just done some updates on the website so please head over there and have a read of the Lockdown Series Racing Rules and check out the Calendar. www.matrixmotorsport.com.au ATM I have created racing with more older Juniors or Seniors in mind from Karting and the other drivers that may come form Road Racing. I am happy to create some single day servers maybe for the Cadets if Parents would like to see some of their young racers get on and give it a try, just PM if you do... so I can create another set of events if it looks like we need to get them on track. Warwick Kart Club, SEKQLD, Ipswich Cooloola everyone is welcome atm I also only have the driver limit set to 15 so if we start getting bigger numbers we can have spectators which would allow us to also do heats on the day. Live Racers website link you will find on the website will only show the top 3 drivers so if your not in the top 3 you will need to look under the Results tab to see all your laps. I hope to see a few people I know and maybe a few new drivers come and give it a go on the matrix server. Cya online all you need is the rFactor 2 software and steering wheel. Race details will be posted on the morning of each day racing is scheduled, the first race day date is this Thursday the 2nd April the Calendar should be easy to follow form there. See more

17.01.2022 Well Casey and I went to try an 2 hour enduro on Saturday at Ipswich kart track held by SEKQLD. After several practice sessions we were into Qually and Casey got the chance to go for it and managed to get the pole in greasy conditions. Then final practice came along and we had made a few changes to the chassis and I went out first and it was definitely an improvement so I quickly handed it back over to Casey and he also went a bit quicker. However we had a mechanical issue at about the 20 minute mark and this caused us to miss the race entirely. A sad way to end a promising looking race with the other teams all close on pace. 16.01.2022 Well, the server has been running all morning and with no drivers entering as well as no drivers having logged in to race. I can only presume that todays rescheduled Round 1 is a non event due to non attendance. The existence of the eSeries will depend on it having competitors, I cant have servers running with no drivers and spend days waiting for drivers to enter when no one is doing so. If the eSeries continues to get no interest I will have no option but to not have the server on, thanks.

15.01.2022 We headed to Warwick Kart Club for the Christmas meeting and the club presentations yesterday. Casey didnt have anyone to race with in his class but he pushed hard all day to put his kart to the test after we repaired it from a big crash a few weeks ago. The chassis was working perfectly and he managed to set a 35.792 and with the first anyone has run at the xmas meeting in 4SS Senior Light that is a new lap record. Which will be good for him in 2021 when we will see who come...s to WKC to challange Casey. I decided since no other Supermaxx drivers entered I would fit the X30 to my Intrepid chassis and have a race in 125 Restricted Masters. Started well with P3 in the egg and spoon race for qually, Congrats to Brett Tennent on Pole. But he didnt want the pressure of starting off Pole for his first ever race so he started from the rear. Which moved me up to P2. I had some great racing in both heats 1 and 2 and lead both of those races to my surprise. Finished P3 in Heat 1 and P2 in heat 2. And with some full on racing in the Final with lots of respectfull side by side clean racing I came home in P4. So I managed to finish the day in P3 which was a big surprise having done no practice on the Friday like some drivers got to do. Racing against Justin Beeton with his blue plate and holding my own was nice after a few rounds of the Triple Crown where I was off the pace was a great confidence boost for sure. Big thanks to WKC for a big effort in 2020 to keep us on track during the COVID pandemic and mixing things up with formats and layout changes. 12.01.2022 We are about to start our LMP1 short endurance series. Race distances and tracks can be found on the Matrix Motorsport website, since this is a car and series I have created myself it only open to those that register, this can be done via the websites email link, once registered you will recieve an email with the passord for the server and you can proceed to log in and download the content. I would advise that you do so well before Thursday night as we will be going ahead wit...h or without you ;). Qually: 7:45pm, 15 mins warmup 5 mins Racing approx 8:10pm, 70 mins for Rd 1 to Rd 4, with Rd 5 being a 2.4 hour race with full day night transitions to simulate the 24 hour time frame. Server will be live 24/7 for practice as normal. Races will be a rolling start. Races may be at night or in the day or both it will vary each week. Good luck. And get practicing.

12.01.2022 Well it is raining tonight, so hoping we dont get wet before we get on the track. Neither of us have been to the Bundy track before so hopefully its fun and the racing is good. We will hit the track in the morning. We have one set of wets so I guess its rock paper scissors as too who gets to use em if it stays wet.

12.01.2022 While I was the cause of the first round of the WKC eSeries being cancelled, apologies for that. I will reschedule the La Conca round for the 28th June same sup regs and details and I will put that track back up for practice for the preceding week. However this Sunday the Track is Kart Clube. The server is live and the track can be downloaded anytime, Enjoy I will post sup regs for it tom and will hope to see a few drivers online Sunday. I highly recommend following/liking Matrix Motorsport so you are not missing any info while we are running WKCs eSeries.

11.01.2022 OK with todays test racing done dusted we can now tick off having tested all the classes and classes before next weeks round 1 of the WKC eSeries Club championship. Todays racing was taken out by Vance Le Garde, it was close result with a draw on points with Codey Collins broken by the qualifying result. Thanks to everyone who has helped me with the testing duties and attending the test sessions I have held and given me feedback on whats good and whats wasnt. All results from today are available on the Liver Racers link on the website if you are keen to check out what happened in detail.

11.01.2022 I have been able to get Teamspeak working again today and I have reloaded the WKC eSeries server and the Matrix Lockdown Server running on the latest build 1120. So please make sure you double check that you can connect to both or either depending on which one you are racing on as early as you can. The GP3 server is now running Monaco, and the eSeries is still running Palmbeach. Both are working fine. All passwords are currently the same as they have been but any problems let me know via FB messenger or email or text message, thanks.

11.01.2022 Sorry to have to say that due to a few server issues we cant run the eSeries racing today, I hope to get it all sorted and be ready for the running of Round 1 next Sunday.

09.01.2022 The Lockdown Series server is now running the LMP1 on Le Mans for 2 weeks for practice before the 2.4 hour race. So get plenty of practice in as you will need to do race in the night dusk and dawn with possibly rainy or sunny conditions. Good luck all, and remember to use your driver profile when online if you have multiple drivers using your sim ;)

08.01.2022 I have found if we revert back to the 1119 version there will be no disconnection issues and connection issues that people have been having issues with. If your unsure how to do it let me know I am able to help people out, the server is currently running on the Klube track and I have a few driver updates to add in Monday. 07.01.2022 Went to the SEKQLD Warwick meeting today. Casey has been racing in the Senior Single Engine class. He raced hard all day and had a few ups and downs but came home 3rd overall. There was great close racing all day with a slight sprinkle of rain before the 1 hour final. Thanks to SEKQLD for putting the event on and starting to support this class. QES for ongoing support, BnD Signs ( we may need some new stickers ) and Auto One Browns Plains. I will post a few pictures later as I was not in the pits but you can watch some of the racing on Kev "The Noise" Davies FB page. Thanks Kev for the great commentary also. And a big thanks to those in the pits that gave Casey some assistance while I was in the timing tower.

04.01.2022 Heading out to the final day of the QLD State Titles held at Willowbank today. Casey has othe Pre Final and the Final left to go so we hope he has a clean run and he can finish with a good race. This being the first time in TaG 125 Restricted Light he has done a great job so far to be right at the mid field mark.

04.01.2022 For those Lockdown Series racers we (well you guys, not me atm) will race the Superkarts around Autodrom Most on Thursday night it can be found on the steam workshop and the superkarts are on the server. CYA Thursday night 8pm. for 4 10 lap races. No SCs just flat out racing.

02.01.2022 Tonights round of the endurance series will be a no points round due to a medical issue for Casey. I will set the server for 2 x 35 minute races so drivers can still get someracing in and track time. Apologies but cant be helped. 02.01.2022 WKC eSeries server is now running the new track La Morgal Kart Alonso for practide with the date of the next raceday TBA.

01.01.2022 The eSeries practice server is running for Round 2, there wont be any racing next Sunday as per the calendar. The track is Palmbeach it is a STD track and is available from the steam workshop, once I have posted the sup regs dont forget to enter. Those that have registered should have received an email with links to download the Cadet and Junior Updates last week. If you didnt message me or email me I can resend it, otherwise it will download from the server when you login.

01.01.2022 Well we headed to Cooloola for the last round of the Triple Crown on the weekend and it was looking like a great weekend. Casey managed to put his kart on pole ahead of Jack Munro a massive 0.7 secs under the existing lap record, which was nice. Then he set another PB to lower the lap record again in Heat 2 by 0.046 to a 42.842 which no one managed to get near for the rest of the day. Sorry Jack that is one from your set you don't have :P . He had finished P2 in both Heat 1 &... 2 behind Jack which was fine but sadly in Heat 3 he was involved in an incident deemed a racing incident which sadly could have been avoided by both drivers. Which has wrecked his kart and prevented him from completing the days racing and ruining both his and the other drivers chances of winning the Triple Crown which at that point only 4 points seperated them, and sadly handed the series win to Jack who hadn't been at every round. Casey ended up hanging on for 3rd overall even with missing the final and not finsihing Heat 3. Thanks to Jack from Casey for some good clean racing up front with lots of respect and racing room. My weekends racing got off to a bad start with a flat tyre in Qualifying which I feel had me out of where I could have been in a possible 5th and the top 4 are all jets in a kart and hard to beat on a bad day. So on the outside I had some dodgy starts and through the day managed to work my way up to finish 5th overall. In the races when I managed to get clear of Paul and Ben I could easily pull away but it wasn't always simply as they were doing a good job also. Hard luck to Ben in the final as I saw his rear bar pop up and off as the kart jacked heading down the left hander off the top of the hill towards the last corner :( at least its working right Ben just it looked like the nut was missing on top from my view. Good racing all day but I was frustrated even though my kart felt better than it did at Warwick I was just bottled up a bit at the starts and lost and chance to chase Kevin and Craig to hang on to a possible 3rd at worst overall but then due to bad qualifying and my 7th in Heat 1 and 6th in Heat 3 pushed me down to 4th overall. Thanks to the three Clubs BKC, WKC & CCKC for hosting each round of the series and Kev "The Noise" Davies for the great coverage and interviews and promoting our 4SS classes and giving us a series in 2020 to compete in. 01.01.2022 If anyone would be interested in V8 Race around Bathurst on either the 30th or 31st of October PM me, I am thinking atm a single driver race distance of 500kms but 2 drivers could also do the race together. If we can get a decent amount of interest I might host the race. Thanks.
