22.01.2022 HOLLY Having grown up with parents who were passionate about improving the reputation and standards of the transport industry, transport was always talked about at the dinner table. At university it was only natural to study business focusing on human resource management and with additional studies in supply chain management and small business. My first job out of university was working for mid-size brokerage, looking after claims for all lines of insurance. Eventually this led me onto assisting a book of clients and negotiating with insurers to find coverage at a price that met suitable risk exposures. Following on from this, I was able to further satisfy my interests in the transport industry, by gaining experience as a marine underwriter.
