15.01.2022 Are you ready to beat the winter blues? The best way to get yourself excited for warmer days is to do a little spring cleaning! We are hoping that you’ll join us in getting our cars cleaned up after this cold winter weather. Here is our McIntyre Auto Repairs cleaning checklist for spring! Follow along and your car will look ready for sunshine and summer! 1. Get rid of all the trash in your vehicle and pull out those grubby mats. You and your feet have dragged a lot of grime i...nto the car and it’s best to start with those removed. 2. Vacuum your whole car. Seriously, don’t miss an inch. Get between the seats, near the entry, and the body. 3. Now get out your vehicle carpet cleaner and get to work with any mud stains. You’ll want to work on all the fabric you can reach to make sure things look cleaned up. 4. Wash the windows! Use your Windex and a clean rag or microfiber cloth to get your windows shined and clear. Also take a minute to wipe down the center console and all the dials, but don’t spray them with the cleaner directly! 5. Now wash the outside of your car. Start from the top and work your way down to the wheels. 6. Lube all the hinges to the doors and the body. This will minimize squeaky sounds and keep them working well for years to come. 7. Finally, make sure to keep up with your regular maintenance activities like oil changes and wheel replacements. Wheels without tread can make driving dangerous, and keeping all the fluids topped off will ensure your vehicle runs more effectively. If you have any questions or want a professional to take a look at your car before the summer weather arrives, feel free to give us a call. We do great Cut ‘n’ polish and we also have a awesome guy who does the best detailing in the WEST! We would love to hear from you, and to see how your spring cleaning is going.
