07.01.2022 STAFF PROFILE What do you love about working as an MCR Protection Officer? There are so many things I love. I love being challenged to problem solve and find the best way to assist in getting work done safely and efficiently.... Being out and about in different locations day-to-day and meeting new people from all walks of life. You've previously had a career in the Australian ARMY, did any of the skills that you learnt there help you in your current role? The Army showed me the importance of being a team player. It taught me to get in and give things a go, also some great organisational skills. There was a big focus on Safety across the board in the Army. What are your Career goals in SAFE WORKING? I would really like to gain as much knowledge as I can out in the field. I would eventually enjoy something within training down the track pardon the pun. So many people so far have shared their knowledge and experience with me and I really do enjoy it when I am able to pass that on to others. What are your interests outside of work? I absolutely love to cook for friends and go bushwalking whenever possible. I also enjoy beach time with my French Bulldog Jewel #MCR #railsafety #safetyculture #community
