09.01.2022 I've overextended myself, then been ill for a while, I haven't started sewing for the season, and I find I am unable to make anything custom for the foreseeable future (at least the next 5-6 weeks). Basic wraps and rolls and pretty burritowraps will continue till the current stock runs out, but I have found I have no time left to do the fancy and fiddly stuff. Teats and dummies will still continue to be available. If you have already ordered you will get the stuff promised, but it may be a bit late. Sorry for the delays.

The donation was courtesy of Battie Blue, Battie Blue Too and Megabattie followers. I was just the middleman. The volume of babies coming into your car is overwhelming and the least I could do was to facilitate something to help.
03.01.2022 This is what 50 babies in care looks like. The Cairns area of Far North Queensland regularly gets many many abandoned babies. This is an ongoing thing and every year there are more and more. So many babies are coming into care the girls are inundated. One of the carers says: "This is what 50 orphan flying fox pups look like, yep 50! We all thought it couldn’t get worse than last season where we saw just over 1150 dead or orphaned pups, in only the beginning of our third ...month we have reached we have reached over 550 pups found dead or alive, a 30% increase on the same period last year and with over 120% increase in orphans in Care. It’s going to be a tough season. These pups are just what is in my care and I am not alone caring for this number of orphans" So I want to send another care package. Teats, dummies, wraps and rolls. Can you imagine the amount of washing they're doing? Donations can be sent to Tolga Bat Hospital http://tolgabathospital.org Mention Megabattie/Rebecca in the PayPal message box and the money will find its way to the girls doing all the hard work. I'll send what I can send over the next week, and extra funds will go to creche costs for these babies. Please be aware that Tolga Bat Hospital is also inundated with babies, so getting acknowledgement of donations might take some time. Jenny from Tolga admins the funds and is busy running the hospital and volunteers and getting all her orphans fed. Thanks Rebecca for the photo and update and all your hard work. Thanks to all the Cairns carers who are dealing with this inundation.
